| At present,the academic research on the early jade is mainly focused on the prehistoric period and the Qin and Han Dynasties,but the research on the jade unearthed in the Xia,Shang and Zhou Dynasties is insufficient.On the basis of previous studies,this paper intends to make a systematic and comprehensive collection and collation of jade Bi materials unearthed in archaeological excavations,focus on classification research,and discuss the stages,characteristics and functions.It is expected that the research of this paper can further fill in the blank of jade research in Xia,Shang and Zhou Dynasties and enrich the research on jade culture history.This article is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is introduction.The main definition of relevant concepts of this article;Previous research review of jade;The selected topic purpose,research methods.The second chapter is an introduction to the general situation of jade Bi unearthed in Xia,Shang and Zhou dynasties.The third chapter uses archaeological typology to study the types of jade Bi unearthed in Xia,Shang and Zhou dynasties.According to the different shapes of the unearthed jade Bi,it can be divided into non outline Bi,outline Bi and irregular Bi.The fourth chapter is the analysis of the function of the unearthed jade.According to the location of the jade and the general situation around the excavation,combined with the relevant literature records,the jade can be divided into several major uses,such as ornaments,funerals,sacrifices,etiquette and so on.The last part is the conclusion.This paper summarizes the achievements of this study,and points out the limitations and shortcomings.The research shows that the jade Bi unearthed in Xia,Shang and Zhou dynasties plays a very important role in the early jade culture of China. |
