With the continuous improvement of China’s comprehensive national strength and the rapid development of the economy,China’s vocational education has reached a higher level;Under the guidance of national policies,secondary vocational education is playing an increasingly important role in the field of vocational education.At present,there are some problems in the teaching of basic music theory in the music major of the vocational school,such as students’ low interest in learning,lack of initiative in learning,and the disconnection between teaching content and practice,so the teaching reform of basic music theory in the music major of the vocational school is urgent.The course teaching based on action orientation has changed the traditional teaching concept,mainly through taking action orientation as the guide to make students to improve their learning interest,cultivate their innovative thinking,and improve their key ability and comprehensive quality,which is an important teaching reform from knowledge to knowledge.Based on the background,purpose and significance of the research,this paper puts forward the research viewpoint of using action oriented teaching in the teaching of basic music theory of music major in vocational school.The necessity of introducing actionoriented teaching in the basic music theory course is expounded in detail by analyzing the teaching situation of the teachers and the study situation of the students in four vocational schools.Response to music class specialized secondary vocational art school,the teaching status quo of basic music theory course is put forward in the design of the course teaching reform measures include: through the analysis of the situation of students’ learning,to cultivate the students’ interest in learning as a starting point,a clear teaching goal,cultivating students’ practical ability,cooperation ability and consciousness;Some typical curriculum items were selected and the teaching and evaluation mechanism of the curriculum were reconstructed by using project teaching method and technology experimental teaching method as the main carrier.In the demonstration,the teaching practice research is strongly supported by the actual teaching cases.Based on the effect of action-oriented teaching of basic music theory in vocational school,this paper analyzes and finds out the problems existing in the practical operation of action-oriented teaching,puts forward improvement countermeasures and draws research conclusions.Finally,the problems that need to be further studied are explained,and the objectives for future research are defined.The results of this study will provide reference for the further reform of basic music theory or other courses of music major in vocational school.
