Asimov is good at using narrative techniques to show the structure of science fiction world,to express his thoughts on ethical rules,and to expresses his worry about the fate of human beings.The existence of science fiction is just the connection between fantasy and reality by means of literature.The ethical consciousness from reality is interpreted through narrative expression,and finally plays the significance of exploring the real world.This thesis focuses on Asimov’s sci-fi works,and makes an analysis on four levels based on the theory of narrative ethics.It analyzes Asimov’s own narrative ethics consciousness,the ethics of Asimov’s sci-fi themes,how this ethics is reflected in the works through narrative strategies,and grasp what kind of reading ethics readers can be participated in the final.The first chapter elaborates on Asimov and the ethical significance of his creation.The second chapter analyzes the ethics of story in Asimov’s science fiction.The third chapter is to analyzes the ethics of narrating in Asimov’s science fiction.Analaysing how the narrative techniques present the ethics of story.And the fourth chapter analyzes the ethics of reading in Asimov’s science fiction,to analyzes the formation process of reading ethics.It emphasizes how his works affect the readers’ reading ethics in reality.Science fiction works are made by creation and finished by reading.Based on this context,this thesis combs what realistic ethical thinking Asimov’s science fiction bears,and in what way it ultimately has a huge impact on the readers in reality,explores the practical significance of science fiction.
