Study On The Image Of "Evil Mother " From The Perspective Of Feminism

The identity of the mother is full of sanctity,the literary world once sang the ode to the mother,for a long time,the mother occupied the literary world’s altar.However,with the surging tide of The Times,writers began to explore the dark side of the image of mother,"evil mother" image followed,and the historical and social issues behind the image were also put in front of the world,triggering philosophical thinking.The story of the Golden Lock,was published in 1944 by Chinese female writer ZHANG Ailing.It depicts in detail the lonely and tragic life of CAO Qiqiao,the second young madam of the traditional patriarchal family Jiang.With the female image CAO Qiqiao,the author mercilessly breaks the warmth,affection and kindness of the traditional patriarchal family.Meanwhile,the author probes into the inner meaning and the interest of existence of the female individual life with the strange and bold literary style.In the Golden Lock,CAO Qiqiao becomes a rare "evil mother" in the history of Chinese literature,because she is unable to fight against social ills and accumulates resentment,and her heart is abnormal,because she has nowhere to go and persecutes her children.The French writer Flaubert in 1851 wrote the novel Madame Bovary with farm girl Emma’s tragedy in the center.The most striking part of the novel is that Emma betrays her husband,ignores her daughter,being passionate and kind to her lovers,but is extremely cold and cruel to her family,especially her young daughter.The most painful part of the novel is the rest of Belter’s life and the end: a bright life,but because of her mother,the young Belter finally becomes miserable.Therefore,Emma is not only a "stupid girl" and a "needy wife",but a real "evil mother",who has made her daughter’s fate of being ignored,abandoned and left alone.There is the blackness of the dark society,the ugliness of the patriarchal world,but no one is living in a "vacuum",no one can escape responsibility.Even in the society where the sin is obvious,Emma should not bury her head in the sand.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly expounds the significance of the topic,the research status of mother、 "evil mother" image and theoretical basis.The second part explores the characters of traditional mothers and evil mothers,discusses the change of writing from the image of traditional mother to the image of "evil mother",and points out the deep connotation of the image of "evil mother".The third part compares and analyzes the imbalance between CAO Qiqiao and Emma as the "evil mother".In the fourth part,from the perspective of feminism,analyzes the situation in which the two "evil mothers" are distorted by the oppression of male power,and analyzes the root cause of their becoming "evil mothers" and responsibility.The fifth part summarizes the full text.Although the two novels of “evil mother” are different in cultural context and individual personality,the two writers take the female’s shirking of responsibility and taking the initiative to do evil as a part of social evil,and reflect on the human nature defects and the evil of common people from the perspective of the whole human being.The road to women’s liberation is far.It is better to stay sober,review ourselves,and guard against the evils of intimacy than to hate,and blame others.
