Research On City Ruin Explorer From The Perspective Of New Tribe Theory

In recent years,urban ruin exploration has emerged in China as a form of youth subculture.Compared with the ingrained production of "meaning" in traditional youth subcultures,the new youth culture is good at "re-embedding" meaning in"meaninglessness".In the eyes of ruin explorers,ruins are not useless urban spaces.They carry history,memory and art,and are connected with their own emotions.They represent the distinctive emotional characteristics,cultural identity and value orientation of urban young people.Researchers of urban ruins can further understand the living conditions and spiritual outlook of urban youth.At the same time,it is included in the background of "post-subculture",which provides a certain reference for the investigation of other post-subculture phenomena.This article mainly takes the city ruin explorer as the research object,and puts it in the background of the post-modern society.It uses French sociologist Michael Mafisoli’s "new tribe" theory as an entry,and adopts network ethnography,interviews and The field survey research method examines the online and offline cultural practice activities of the ruin explorer,discusses the tribalized survival status of the urban ruin explorer,and analyzes the post-subcultural characteristics it presents.This article first describes and analyzes the formation of urban ruin explorer tribes based on shared emotions.The study found that the urban ruin exploration tribe from the perspective of post-subculture is an emotional community formed based on the explorer’s aesthetic,psychological and other factors.The main characteristics include short-term gathering,changeable combination,ambiguous nature,and unorganization.Secondly,it explains the cultural characteristics of the city ruin explorer tribe.The study found that the explorer’s desire and impulse to "go into the ruins" through the media Hajj ritual.The explorer uses the ruins as the cultural medium and the network as the exhibition space,showing the distinctive cultural production pattern,identity and social power.Finally,it clarifies the relationship model of opposite coupling in the city ruin explorer tribe,which makes the tribe endless.The analysis shows that common emotions and open public relations lead to the diversity of groups,seemingly opposed to each other,but actually form a fairly stable social arrangement.Based on the above research,the article believes that urban ruins,as an emotional place or cultural medium that deviates from the mainstream space,entrust or convey emotional appeals,values,and identification,etc.,and are promoted by ruin exploration enthusiasts or participants The cultural practice show and the city ruins explore the formation of new tribes,which to a certain extent cross the traditional racial,political,gender and other differences,showing the post-modern social and cultural development "individualism" value bias.
