| Translation game theory,which reconsiders translation or interpretation behavior into the category of social economy,points out that translation/interpretation is a game--a game between translators/interpreters and writers/speakers,clients,readers/audiences,publishers and other translators/interpreters of translated works.The author intends to object at interpreting practice of 2019 European Union Film Festival in China,and then to study gaming phenomenon,different problems faced by interpreters so as to conclude coping strategies and tactics,and finally analyzed motivation and reasons behind.Interpreting is consist of consecutive interpreting and simultaneous interpreting.Escort interpreting belongs to consecutive interpreting.In the practice of escort interpretation of 2019 European Union Film Festival in China,because there are different interests of clients,interpreters,speakers and audiences,the gaming phenomena exist between interpreter and speaker,interpreter and listener,interpreter and themselves.The difficult faced by escort interpreters mainly include: listening problems and extra-linguistic knowledge problems.The listening difficult is caused by different accents of speakers and escort interpreters’ master of words and phrases.While,extra-linguistic difficult comes from interpreter’s lack of encyclopedic knowledge in relative fields and different cultural background of speakers.The practice report analyzed gaming phenomenon faced by escort interpreter including game between interpreter and speaker,interpreter and listener as well as interpreter and themselves.It analyzed listening problems and extra-linguistic difficult faced by interpreters,and then tried to seek out coping strategies and tactics from the perspective of game theory,combining the characteristics of escort interpreting,so as to provide more references with MTI learners and teachers,and offer inspirations to interpreting practitioners and learners in relative field. |
