Since the 1950s,more and more scholars have devoted themselves to studying the negative structure of redundant negation,which has become the focus and hot topic of academic research in recent years.But so far,most scholars have focused on ontology research,and there are few researches on the structure of redundant negation in the field of Chinese as a foreign language.In particular,the research on the relationship between "holding back" and "holding back" is still blank.There is a negative structure in the series of textbooks of "Developing Chinese ",but the author finds that there are still some problems in Chinese learners’ mastery of this kind of structure through questionnaire.Based on the practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,this paper analyzes the negative structure of "hold back no ".This paper is mainly divided into three parts,the first part is the ontological study of the structure of "hold back no ".Through data collection and collation,From the perspective of diachronicity,this paper analyzes the development process of "forbearance"," living" and "holding back ",and summarizes the lexicalization process and the evolution of meaning of " holding back " Through the diachronic study of "hold back not ",this paper analyzes its curing process,summarizes the reasons and forming process of "hold back not " From the perspective of synchronicity,this paper compares the syntax,semantics and pragmatics of "holding back" and "holding back not ",and summarizes the similarities and differences between " holding back " and " holding back not ".The second part is the questionnaire and error analysis,the object of the survey is the middle and senior level students of our college of international education,the content of the survey is the redundant negation structure involved in the Development of Chinese and the most common redundant negation structure in daily life.By summing up the errors of students,this paper analyzes the reasons of errors in learning the negative structure of redundantnegation.The third part is to combine their own teaching practice and the conclusion of the questionnaire,and put forward three principles and three teaching methods for the redundant negation teaching of foreign students,hoping that their conclusions can be helpful to the envious redundant structure teaching in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
