A Study On The Image Of Confucius In The Poems Of Wei,Jin,Southern And Northern Dynasties | | Posted on:2021-05-20 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:C Q Ji | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2505306107981039 | Subject:Chinese Language and Literature | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | As the creator of the Confucianism paradigm,Confucius has had a profound influence in the fields of ideology and culture for thousands of years.At the same time,the character of Confucius has also entered the literary text extensively.It is the point that understanding Confucius’ historical image cannot be ignored.In recent years,the academic circles have focused on the research of Confucius,but the results of the study of Confucius’ s image based on the poetry have been lacking.The study of poems about Confucius in the Wei,Jin,Northern and Southern Dynasties is that no one is interested.During the Wei,Jin,Northern and Southern Dynasties,poetry gradually changed from Yuefu poetry to literary poetry.Poetry has made great progress.And the change of politics and social darkness at that time objectively promoted the intellectual liberation of scholars.The collision and fusion of Lao Zhuang’s thoughts,Buddhist thoughts and metaphysical thoughts made the expression of poetic emotions more profound,and also enriched the image of Confucius.Based on the Pre-Qin,Han,Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties Poems edited by Lu Qinli,the author choosed the poems of Wei,Jin,Southern,and Northern Dynasties to research the image of Confucius.This paper consists of six parts.The second chapter is the focus of this paper.According to the traditional Confucian view,the poems about Confucius of Wei,Jin,Northern and Southern Dynasties are classified into three parts: natural landscape,realistic pursuit,and spiritual influence on later generations of literati according to the frequency of allusions.And further subdivided the image of Confucius into six parts,the two subsections of "the sentimental person in front of the river in a sensitive era" and "the willful person in a landscape assembly" focused on expressing life-conscious Confucius in poetry;the next parts show Confucius’ s persistent pursuit of the life;the last two parts are based on Confucius’ unique position in Confucianism.It expresses his important influence as a spiritual banner in the minds of later generations of scholars,and the ranking of the six aspects also reflects the social trends of thought and changes in the mentality of scholars.The introduction of Buddhism and the rise of Taoism made the social thoughts of this period relatively diverse,and this change affected literary creators.Even Confucius,who has seldom spoken of the fate,was also brought into the metaphysical poetry full of speculation and philosophy during this period.Therefore,the third chapter mainly interprets the image of Confucius that is different from the traditional image of Confucianism from the fusion of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism.The fourth chapter is mainly from the perspective of poetry creation.Confucius was freed from the more solemn poetic subjects such as suburban temples and turned into a private product used by poets to express their own;from the high position was pulled down,And turned into a secular object described by poets;from the fragmented ballads extracted from the history books to the systematically portrayed the image of Confucius,also the characterize of poems in the Wei,Jin,Northern and Southern Dynasties.Finally,the Confucius poems of the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties were placed in history.It can be discovered that the image of Confucius created during this period has an irreplaceable unique role in the history of poetry about Confucius writing.In general,the poems of the Wei,Jin,Northern and Southern Dynasties have the characteristics of inheriting the poems of the pre-Qin and Han Dynasties and directly taking the songs of historical books,and also have the effect of affecting the development of the Confucian poems of the Tang and Song Dynasties into immortalization and religion. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Confucius image, the Wei,Jin,Northern and Southern Dynasties, Confucianism, Metaphysics | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
