On Yu Hua’s View Of Truth

In the 1980 s,a wave of avant-garde literature launched a series of outstanding writers,among which Yu Hua was among them.Since then,each of Yuhua’s works has been published and become a hot topic in the literary world.It can be said that Yu Hua is one of the most influential writers in the literary world.In the pioneer period,Yu Hua put forward the concept of "truth" in his fictitious works,which provides an important clue for the interpretation of Yu Hua’s creation in the pioneer period,and also provides an important entry point for the understanding of the whole group of Pioneer Writers.Then,when the pioneer trend of thought began to ebb,"reality" was still an important concern of Yu Hua,but at this time,Yu Hua’s concept of reality changed,which made his novel creation changed significantly.This paper is based on Yuhua’s view of reality,exploring the characteristics and changes of its view of reality,and trying to study Yuhua’s overall creation under the guidance of the clue of "view of reality",so as to explore the different creative styles of Yuhua in different periods.This paper is divided into three chapters,the first chapter discusses the characteristics of Yuhua’s vanguard concept of reality.In Yuhua’s view,the reality does not come from daily life,on the contrary,the former is rebellion and escape from the latter.The truth that Yu Hua identified with is based on meaning.And in Yuhua’s view,only through the power of spirit can we reach the space of meaning,and then embrace the truth.And the power of the spirit,in the final analysis,is to rely on the role of reason.Yu Hua wants to take reason as the "blade" and directly break through the appearance of experience reality,and then enter into the "inner broad meaning".Under the guidance of this view of reality,Yu Hua began his literary creation in the pioneer period with the narrative strategies of "opening personal living experience","subverting empirical reality" and "deconstructing traditional culture".The second part discusses the characteristics of Yuhua’s outlook on reality after the pioneer period,that is,taking "shout in the drizzle" as the boundary,to explore the real outlook of this work and all subsequent works.In this period,Yu Hua began to realize the limitations of rationality,and no longer trusted the significance of the world and existence constructed by reason.This makes Yuhua’s view of reality grow up in accordance with the living experience reality,and he is relying on the power of sensibility to capture the experience world.Although Yu Hua’s view of reality has shown the feature of approaching to the empirical reality as a whole since "shouting in the drizzle",in his creative practice,the specific focus of his view of reality is different for different periods of creation.In Yu Hua’s creation,his works in the 1990 s are more concentrated in pursuing the "truth" of "characters",but his works in the 21 st century are beginning to pursue the "truth" of "era experience".The third part discusses the significance of Yuhua’s view of reality.For the pioneer period,Yu Hua’s view of reality shows the style of the whole group of Pioneer Writers,which provides a unique and sharp entry point for understanding the whole trend of thought of pioneer literature.For the 21 st century,the reality view close to experience makes Yuhua’s creation jump out of the single aesthetic standard of "pure literature",and makes Yuhua face up to and show the experience and Prospect of the times.In addition,it also makes Yuhua have the spirit of constantly pursuing self transcendence and the courage to face the city life and write.
