Research On Narrative Strategies Of TV Dramas Adapted From Network Novels

Internet age network novels emerge as the times require,because the creative platform is highly free and the content is close to the mass life,and it has become a unique literary form in the new era.The continuous improvement of social influence has contributed to the marriage of Internet novels and TV dramas.The network novel has undergone a complete process of growth from the first successful adaptation of the test water in 2004 to the screen hegemony of the TV set.The TV drama adapted from the network novels is transformed from the text narration language into the image language,forming the transformation of external form,and the adaptation technology of its internal text is more critical.The high level of narration is an important yardstick for a TV play adaptation to achieve a win-win situation between commerce and art.The thesis is divided into six chapters.The introduction part is the explanation of the background and significance of the study of the TV series adapted from the network novel,as well as the innovation of this article.The second chapter is an overview of the adaptation,the description of the adaptation of the "hot" phenomenon,the analysis of the causes and the process of adaptation.The third chapter is the connection and difference between the network novel and the TV drama in the text level.The fourth chapter is the main part of the article,which is the narrative strategy analysis of the TV drama adapted from the online novels.It is demonstrated from four aspects: the theme,the character settings,the narrative language and the plot.The fifth chapter and the sixth chapter respectively analyze the current problems and the future development trend of the network adaptation TV series.At present,the number of TV dramas adapted from the network novels is huge,but the number of excellent TV plays is very few.The TV series adapted from the network novel is the difference of the same story,so the adaptation of the narrative strategy plays a decisive role in the success of the adaptation.Based on the theory of narratology and taking the successful cases of TV novels adapted from online novels as an example,this paper will analyze the narrative strategies of adaptation from the perspective of text and video,summarize the existing problems and the development trend of adaptation dramas.
