Guangxi has abundant resources of language, which makes it a rare language mine.In recent years, the study of Guangxi dialects has focused on its phonetics and vocabulary.Although research on grammar became popular soon after,of local dialect grammar research it mainly focused on scattered single-point descriptions that there is few systematic comparison of grammar research analysis, and some grammatical studies have been around for a long time while the language(dialect)is actually constantly changing and developing. This article takes Guangxi Cantonese dialect passive sentences as the research object, combines synchronic description with diachronic research, and systematically displays the whole picture of Guangxi Cantonese dialect passive sentences. The article is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is the introduction. It first introduces the customs, geographic location, and general dialects of Guangxi; Then explains the research purpose and significance of this article, and reviews the summary of related research domestic and overseas.Guangxi Cantonese dialect grammar research mainly focuses on single point description, with few cross-language(dialect)comparisons,especially on passive sentences; Finally, the research methods and corpus sources of this article are introduced. The main research methods are field investigation, comparative analysis, and literature review. The second chapter discusses the syntactic form and semantic content of the passive sentence of seven Cantonese dialects in four areas of Guangxi Cantonese dialect. There are four types of passive sentences: "?ai","t??k","pi",and "f?n".Among them, the passive sentences "?ai" and "t??k" can be modified in both the long passive sentence and the short passive sentence, but the passive sentences "pi" and "f?n" can only be modified in the long passive sentence. The third chapter internally compares the syntactic similarities and pragmatic differences of Guangxi Cantonese dialect of different passive sentences in the same area, the same passive sentences in different areas, and different passive sentences in different areas. In contrast,There are three distinct features of Guangxi Cantonese dialect passive sentences.First, among the four types of passive sentences in Guangxi Cantonese dialect, the passive sentence with the word "t??k" has the deepest grammaticalization.Second, there are obvious inter-generational differences in passive sentences in Guangxi Cantonese dialect. For example, the phrase "?ai" is mainly used among the young generation.Thirdly,it appears that in the Guangxi Cantonese dialect, the subjects can be unconventional subjects, such as passive sentences of time and place. The fourth chapter studies the grammaticalization of four types of passive marks in Guangxi Cantonese dialects from the perspective of diachronic and synchronic. It mainly analyzes the grammaticalization of passive marks from two aspects: ancient Chinese literature and early Chinese dialect literature.Combining with the actual synchronic language expressions,it concludes that the passive sentence "?ai" and "t??k" have similar grammaticalization approaches, and the passive sentences of "pi" and "f?n" have similar grammaticalization.Similar grammaticalization results in similarity in syntax expression after grammaticalization of passive grammaticalization marks. The fifth chapter discusses the contact patterns of passive sentences in Guangxi Cantonese dialects, the characteristics of grammatical evolution, and the rules of contact from the perspective of language(dialect)contact. It first illustrates source of the four types of passive sentences in Guangxi Cantonese dialects, which points out that the passive sentence "pi" is a passive mark of the original Cantonese itself;the passive sentence "?ai" is the evolution of Cantonese’s contact with the Southwestern Mandarin(language of Gui and Liu);"t??k" and "f?n" passive sentences are influenced by Hakka dialect. On the basis of this, combining with the level of contact and both the subjective and objective environment, this article analyzes the contact patterns, characteristics, and rules of passive sentences in Guangxi Cantonese dialects. The sixth chapter is the conclusion. This article is innovative by systematically and comprehensively describing, comparing, and analyzing the syntactic forms, pragmatic expressions, and inter-generational relations of the passive sentences in Guangxi Cantonese dialects; From the perspective of diachronic and synchronic, summarizing the grammaticalization of passive marks in Guangxi Cantonese dialects.Combining with the field investigations, from the perspective of contacting linguistics, this article puts forward own views on the evolution and development of passive sentences in Guangxi Cantonese dialects, and finally puts forward the hypothesis that passive sentences "?ai" will penetrate into various types of languages(dialects)in Guangxi.
