André Derain threw himself into the modernist movement at the beginning of the 20th century and became one of the founders of brutalism.Later,he participated in other factions such as Cubism and was a pioneer in the modernist movement.However,André Derain resolutely withdrew from the modernist movement,returned to "objects" and returned to the visual pursuit of painting,and since then created a large number of excellent works.The spirit of "objects" in André Derain’s paintings is the core content of his works.This article sorts out by interpreting specific paintings and comparing different works,which can intuitively feel AndréDerain’s attitude towards "objects" and painting In-depth thinking.This article firstly interprets the four works of André Derain in different periods and explains the characteristics and style changes of his works in each period.Then compare and analyze André Derain’s works after returning to order with those of other artists,and explore the characteristics of André Derain’s "objects".Based on the analysis and comparison of the pictures,I further refined and summarized AndréDerain’s attitude towards "objects" and paintings,and finally led to thinking about the intention of painting in today’s paintings and the loss of "objects" in paintings.
