Research On Harmonizing Border Function Of National Traditional Culture

The Zhuang ethnic group in Dongzhong Town is a branch of the Zhuang ethnic group.Its traditional culture has its own characteristics.They have such traditional cultures as believed in Heaven and Tianqin art,March 3rd festival,spinning top culture,and the custom of worshipping the "Dai Wang".These traditional cultures have had some influence on the border area between China and Vietnam.In this paper,the traditional culture of Zhuang ethnic in Dongzhong Town in Fangchenggang City is taken as the research object.The cultural functions and cultural governance theories of anthropology and ethnology have been applied in research.Based on the analysis of the geography,human environment and ethnic composition of Zhuang in Dongzhong Town,this paper summarizes the representative cultural phenomena,cultural connotation,cultural characteristics and the open and inclusive concept of the traditional culture of Zhuang in Dongzhong Town.This paper also discusses how to harmonize the traditional culture of ethnic groups in border areas under the modern background.Focusing on the harmonizing border function of traditional culture of Zhuang ethic in Dongzhong Town,this paper expounds the important role of traditional culture of Zhuang ethic in Dongzhong Town in border areas and transnational cultural exchanges from government and folk perspectives.The paper holds that the harmonizing border of traditional national culture is based on the cross-national exchange of the same origin and the same ethnic culture with other countries,and on the harmonious coexistence of different ethnic groups within the country.The practice of harmonizing border between culture and folk culture promoted by the government is an important way to realize a harmonious border between national traditional cultures.On this basis,this paper takes the traditional culture of Zhuang ethic in Dongzhong Town as a case to discuss and study the harmonizing borderfunction of the traditional culture of the nationalities in the border areas.In this process,the national traditional culture was endowed with the national socialist core values and the neighborhood diplomacy spirit of “Build friendship and partnership with your neighbors ".This spirit has strengthened the national consciousness,played a vital role in building a harmonious society in border areas and consolidating the foundation of " peaceful cross-border residence” among transnational nationalities in the cultural exchanges and interactions among various ethnic groups in border areas,and helped realize the function of harmonizing border with peace and stability.
