Zhu Shanpo is an influential writer in the contemporary literary world. In Zhu Shanpo’s early novels, there are always two contradictory forms of space. The author often uses "isolation" or "departure" to distinguish two different Spaces and make them mutually exclusive. The space accompanies the character’s track, the plot development also often plays to strengthen the narrative effect and so on.The author’s spatial opposition is most evident in the opposition between "Gao Zhou",which represents urban space,"Mi Zhuang",which represents rural space, ideal space and real space. With the change of life and the development of creation, the space opposition in Zhu Shanpo’s novels gradually weakened, and the writer created "Egg Town" to explore the possibility of new space combination. He used the town space to connect the contradictory cities and countryside."Storm warning period" shapes the town in the middle zone from the double image of "storm" and the spiritual life of residents, while "Egg Town Cinema" series of short stories are narrated from the two Spaces of reality and imagination, centering on "cinema" and showing the process of imagination being immersed into the real space. As an imaginary space combining physical space and spiritual space, the cinema is the " heterotopia " of Egg Town people.Zhu Shanpo deliberately introduced the novel and vigorous "cinema" into the Egg Town,so that the imaginary space and the real space could interact with each other. The cinema not only supplementedpeople’s spiritual and cultural world, but also affected People’s Daily life to a great extent.
