"2019 Thailand Solar Farm Development and Management Seminar" is one of China’s foreign aid projects sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and undertaken by Hunan Agriculture Group, and 20 cadets from the Thai Army have attended this workshop. The author is responsible for the classroom Interpreting, which involves the professional knowledge in the general situation of solar energy, the assembly and operation of solar panels and so on.Guiding by the Interpretive theory, the author makes the case study of this translation practice.Translation strategies used in this practice include Linguistic strategies, such as Omission,Adaptation,General translation,Substitution,Reorganization and Addition, and non-Linguistic strategies, such as body language and instant inquiry. The application of non-linguistic strategies is very extensive and the use of body language and instant inquiry requires interpreters to give full play to their subjective initiative and actively solve problems.Besides,Omission applies to the repetition, pet phrase, ask the own questions, and selective non-introduction,Adaptation applies to some parts of contents and sentence structures,General translation applies to more original textual contents with less key points,Substitution applies to English words, abbreviations, professional symbols and so on,Reorganization applies to numerous and confusing key points and Addition applies to proper nouns, idioms and logical words. These strategies are complementary and inseparable in the process of Interpreting.
