In the 1990 s,Xu Kun began to create more works related to women,focusing more on the current situation and spiritual world of knowledge women.Xu Kun does not confine his brush strokes to a certain kind of women,but projects his visual angle to different types of knowledge women.With his real and objective brush strokes,he depicts their daily life,shows their inner world,and explores the final destination of their growth and liberation.Through Xu Kun’s full display of knowledge women,we can have a deeper understanding and understanding of the rich thinking behind the image.The intellectual women shown in the works are only the epitome of the times,among which the social and cultural symptoms reflected from them and the reflection of intellectual women on themselves have the significance of the times.Combined with the development trend of women’s writing since the 1990 s,we can see that Xu Kun’s writing expression is also out of the box,breaking through the traditional fixed writing mode,showing more humanistic care,and speaking for women without bias.The characters are more real and full,at the same time,they subvert the disadvantages of blindly imitating the West or deliberately exaggerating the image of women in women’s writing,and inject new blood into women’s writing.In the introduction part of this paper,the author explains the rationality of female intellectuals’ lack of attention as a social group and the object of text research from three aspects: the origin of the topic,the status quo of research,the space and the research objectives and methods.The first part of the paper sorts out and classifies the female intellectuals in Xu Kun’s works,trying to analyze how the Chinese female intellectuals who are in the rapid transition from political economy to modernization construct and realize themselves in terms of social subjectivity and gender subjectivity.In the second part,the author discusses the plight of women’s body and spirit from the aspects of occupation,emotion,discourse,multiple roles,etc.,and expounds the phenomenon of the decline of subject consciousness after women’s compromise,confusion and despair,and reveals the internal and external causes behind the phenomenon.The third part explains the social significance of knowledge female novels from the development of social history,and expounds the significance of Xu Kun ’s knowledge female novels to female writing from the perspective of the development of female criticism.The conclusion part summarizes the difficult exploration of women’s Liberation in Xu Kun’s novels,in order to promote our constant reflection on the relationship between intellectual women and family,society and gender.
