Music Language And Performance Interpretation Of Tchaikovsky’s Four Seasons

Tchaikovsky is a great Russian musician in the romantic period.Because of the moving melody of his music works,he is known as the "master of melody" in Russia.Its creative styles cover opera,dance drama,symphony,Concerto and piano works.His music integrates the characteristics of folk songs,reflects the depression of the people under the rule of the Czar and their own vision for a better life in the future,and is committed to revealing people’s inner contradictions and feelings,especially the later works show more intense dramatic conflicts and Thoughts on life.The piano work "four seasons" was created in 1875,which is the early work of Tchaikovsky.During this period,Tchaikovsky has reflected his unique Russian folk song style in his works.The works are sincere in emotion and moving in melody,which are still favored by piano players today.This paper is mainly from the music life of Tchaikovsky,the music language analysis of the four seasons and the performance interpretation of the four seasons.Tchaikovsky’s music life is based on the 19 th century Russian social status and cultural thoughts,life,creation and style.The second chapter mainly analyzes harmony,tonality,musical structure,rhythm and melody,in which the analysis of linear harmony is missing in the domestic research at present.The purpose of adding the analysis of linear harmony in this chapter is to have a deeper understanding of the musical language of the four seasons.The third chapter combines the analysis content of the first two chapters and personal performance understanding to interpret the four seasons,so as to provide help for music performance.
