Research On Gender Consciousness In The Films And Television Dramas Adaptation Of Chinese Network Novels

This paper explores the gender consciousness in the films and television dramas adaptation of Chinese network novels.Network novel is the product in the Internet era.As the science and technology develop,new media technology also makes progress constantly.Original screenplays and traditional novels have failed to meet the demands of the film and television drama market gradually.However,the number and types of network novels greatly satisfy and promote the development of film and television industry.Meanwhile,the film and television drama adaptation of network novels have occupied half of the films and television dramas industry from the earliest attempt.Influenced by the demand of audiences,the public aesthetic consciousness can be reflected and influenced.From the perspective of gender,this paper explores the gender aesthetic consciousness in the films and television dramas adaptation of Chinese network novels.The part of introduction respectively sorts out the development situation of the films and television dramas adaptation of network novels,research overview of this topic,research methods and thoughts of this paper and briefly explains the major concepts in novels.The first part sets forth the representation that gender consciousness is partial to female orientation in the films and televisions drama adaptation of network novels from the public pop culture phenomena triggered under the influence of the development trend of the films and television dramas adaptation of network novels and through the analysis of questionnaire survey designed according to the topic and specific phenomenon characteristics of gender consciousness of the films and televisions drama adaptation of network novels.The second part finds the reasons behind the representation of female orientation and explores the reasons why aesthetic consciousness in the films and television dramas adaptation of Chinese network novels is partial to female from the perspective of economy,politics and culture.The third part sets forth the significance and disadvantages of female orientation.Currently,the aesthetic consciousness in the films and televisions drama adaptation of Chinese network novels is indeed partial to female orientation,and the trend is continuing.This phenomenon is conducive to developing female culture and improving women’s social status.However,every gender cultural development form is related to the development of humans.Mutual understanding and complementary balance between both sexes pursued by equity of men and women can promote the long-term healthy development of mass culture.
