The influence of the cultural and creative industries on the global economy cannot be ignored,and the infusion of ideology into animation works in various countries has gradually become a global trend.In recent years,the Chinese government has approved various animation industry revitalization projects,and 31 provinces(cities)across the country are competing to create creative cities,which has further promoted the animation industry to become a new economic growth point for regional development.Shandong officially joined the China Free Trade Pilot Zone in August 2019.The unique marine economy and the longterm trade advantages of Japan and South Korea further highlight the special advantages Shandong has in the competition of the animation industry.Although Shandong Province has various favorable conditions for the development of the animation industry,there are still many problems,so that no animation works can impress people.Therefore,to analyze the strength of Shandong province’s animation industry across the country from multiple angles,scientifically use empirical analysis results to summarize Shandong’s competitive advantages and disadvantages,which is conducive to drawing a reasonable and promising to enhance the competitiveness of Shandong animation industry Powerful initiatives.First,it outlines the concepts and theories of domestic and foreign industrial competitiveness evaluation,introduces the main methods currently used to evaluate industrial competitiveness,and combines the industrial indicators established by domestic and foreign scholars,from resource elements,animation market demand,and related support.Sex industry factors,government support,and animation companies themselves have built an evaluation index system for the competitiveness of the animation industry.The system includes 5 first-level competitiveness indicators,12 second-level indicators,and 35 specific indicators,using principal component analysis And cluster analysis method to conduct empirical analysis on 35 specific indicators related to the animation industry,and draw conclusions based on the ranking of the comprehensive competitiveness of the animation industry in 31 provinces(cities): The overall competitiveness of the animation industry in Shandong Province Ranked eighth,it belongs to the third echelon with relatively strong competitive strength,and the competitiveness level of various influencing factors varies greatly.Among them,the competitiveness of the enterprise module is only 18,the government behavior module is ranked third,and the animation market demand module is Ranked sixth,while the resource element module and supporting industry module both ranked seventh.According to the final results of the empirical analysis of the competitiveness of the animation industry,combined with the development trend of the animation industry in Shandong Province in recent years,to explore the competitive advantages and disadvantages of the animation industry in Shandong Province,combined with the five major competitive factor indicators,objectively proposed the competitiveness of the animation industry in Shandong Promotion strategy.Through the methods of information collection,data processing and quantitative evaluation,based on objective empirical analysis,it demonstrates the competitive strength of the animation industry in Shandong Province.It is consistent with the country’s strategic guidance to encourage the development of digital cultural industry,and provides a reference for Shandong Province to carry out practical guidance for the animation industry.Based on the diamond model,the innovation of Shandong province animation industry competitiveness evaluation lies in:First,the principal component analysis and cluster analysis are used to analyze and process the 35 index data,combining qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to avoid the results of general talk.At present,the research on the competitiveness of the animation industry is mostly based on qualitative analysis,and the statistical data analysis tools are rarely used,which cannot guarantee the reliability and validity of the research conclusions.Secondly,the established evaluation index system of the animation industry regards "government behavior" as one of the five competition areas,which is in line with
