A Study On The Symbol Construction Of Craftsman Spirit In The Great Craftsman Of Micro-documentary

In recent years,the word "craftsman spirit" has often appeared in the public’s vision,which is not only paid great attention to and attached great importance to at the national level,but also called for by all walks of life and even every one of us.As the change of media environment,audience gradually entered the era of "micro",unlike traditional documentary spirit spread,micro film using a new concept and expression,adopting micro length,micro perspective novel transmission patterns and characteristics,such as by beautiful pictures will workman’s spirit perfectly reflected,not only meet the needs of the present audience fragmentation viewing habits,but also to the spiritual idea exerts a subtle influence on the audience.The research object of this paper,the great craftsman,is a typical representative of this micro-documentary.When the first season was broadcast,it aroused great response from the audience and won many awards.Therefore,this paper makes an innovative use of peirce’s semiotics theory to analyze the symbol construction of craftsman spirit in the great craftsman,so as to provide certain reference for the study of the symbol construction of other micro-documentaries,and make them better spread the craftsman spirit in China through symbols.Firstly,this paper introduces the research background and significance in the introduction.Then it makes a literature review of semiotics,micro-documentary and craftsman spirit.On the basis of the review,the research ideas and theoretical basis of the paper are summarized.Then,the research methods and innovations used in this paper are described.The first chapter is a review of relevant concepts,describing the definition and characteristics of micro-documentary,as well as the concept and basic connotation of craftsman spirit.The second chapter to the fourth chapter is the process and way of symbol construction.The second chapter discusses how the great craftsman constructs the spirit of the craftsman on the image level through symbols and symbol combination,and at the same time makes the audience clear the symbol types used in the film through careful classification.The third chapter describes how to construct the spirit of craftsman by means of symbolic meaning,mainly from the three aspects of symbolic meaning,symbolic means and the meaning ofaudience decoding.The fourth chapter is how to construct the craftsman spirit in practice through the symbol function,and mainly elaborates the industrial function,cultural inheritance function and individual practice function of the craftsman spirit symbol.Chapter five is about the defects and suggestions of the construction of artisans’ spiritual symbols in the great craftsman,which is mainly divided into two parts.The first part is the deficiency of the film in the process of symbol construction.The second is to provide corresponding suggestions and strategies for the symbol construction of micro-documentary.In the last part,the thesis summarizes the craftsman spirit of the symbol construction of the great craftsman,which is the result of the symbol construction of the craftsman spirit.At the same time,the author also puts forward the deficiencies and defects in the research process of this paper,in order to make other scholars reflect on and avoid similar research in the future.
