The performance of Guangxi minority theme in watercolor painting is the inevitable result of art development.Since the introduction of watercolor painting into China,it has been living alone in small paintings until the 9th National Art Exhibition,watercolor painting an d oil painting,Chinese painting together with independent exhibition,so that watercolor painting out of the situation of small painting.In the early watercolor exhibition,in addition to scenery,still life painting,there are also a lot of figure painting works on display,which also makes the status of watercolor figure painting rising.Watercolor painting in the continuous development pr ocess,at the same time absorb and learn from the Chinese and Western painting experience and e xpression methods,and achieved great results,the choice of themes show diversity.Today,the na tional theme is constantly concerned by the art community,in addition to Xinjiang,Tibet and oth er regions,Guangxi’s national theme watercolor painting has become an important part of the nat ional theme.As one of the main places where ethnic minorities live in China,Guangxi has a variety of colorful folk culture,including material culture,social organization,folk customs,living habits,living style,festival ceremony,traditional dress and so on.Guangxi has a natural environment of natural nature and unique characteristics,especially Guilin,which has been known as "the best landscape in the world" since ancient times,has provided many creative resources for Guangxi minority theme watercolor painting and Chinese watercolor painting.The purpose of this paper is to analyze and study the creative influence of Guangxi minority theme in watercolor painting and the artistic expression of national theme in watercolor painting.This paper briefly introduces the development of Guangxi watercolor painting,which leads to the development of Guangxi minority watercolor painting.The second chapter focuses on the artistic expression of Guangxi minority theme watercolor painting,in which the use and expression of water and color,from thepoint of view of watercolor,to express the artistic characteristics of Guangxi minority theme in watercolor painting,it must be combined with the characteristics of watercolor;the use and performance of special materials;the use and in Guangxi minority theme watercolor painting performance of these four aspects to discuss,at the same time listed some representative painters and works to discuss.As a national area,Guangxi’s national art has obvious research value as other ethnic areas.Therefore,in the third chapter,the article expounds the research value of Guangxi’s minority theme watercolor painting.The research value of Guangxi’s minority theme in watercolor painting is mainly reflected in art national characteristics and promoting national culture,and promoting the development value of Guangxi minority watercolor painting.After making the research discussion,the last chapter of the paper leads to the thinking about the creation of watercolor paintings on the subject of Guangxi ethnic minorities.This thesis is mainly about the performance of Guangxi ethnic minority theme in watercolor painting,while Guangxi as well as some of the national theme of Guangxi watercolor works and watercolor painters research and analysis,from the study of works to the level of artistic spirit and national feelings,for Guangxi ethnic minority theme watercolor painting creation and theoretical development to make a positive contribution,a modest effort,this paper tries to further research on the basis of previous research,hoping to attract more artists and researchers engaged in art theory on the subject matter of cultural exchanges and national cohesion.
