Intangible cultural heritage is a brilliant crystallization of the history and culture of the Chinese nation.Our ancestors created a beautiful future with their wisdom and imagination.The way in which these works of history and memory will be presented and passed on is a question we need to think about.The author’s graduation work,“Embroidery lady”is to record this traditional handicraft in the form of documentary.During the filming of documentaries,it is particularly important to grasp the relationship between documentary and aesthetic.Documentary is a recording method and aesthetic style on the premise of ensuring the authenticity of documentaries.Use of series technique skills,the unique aesthetic characteristics are formed.This study explores and analyzes the documentary features and aesthetic characteristics of intangible cultural heritage documentaries.From the interview,the lens,the light and the contemporaneous sound and other technical means analysis intangible cultural heritage documentary;From the commentary,music and the use of montage and other artistic means to analysis documentary,finally explore the relationship of documentary and aesthetic.Creators should be fully considered before picking up the camera.Balancing art and reality to create aesthetic value of the documentary.
