| In the Qing Dynasty,Sichuan salt occupied most of the salt market in Guizhou.The ancient salt road of qibian in Sichuan,Guizhou and Guizhou is one of the four ancient salt transportation roads.Qibian ancient salt road transports Zigong well salt along the Yangtze River to today’s Qijiang County,Chongqing,and then goes back to Qijiang and up to the northern,central and southern areas of Guizhou.Nearly a quarter of Guizhou’s population ate salt transported by the ancient salt road of qibian.Salt channel is the carrier of salt transportation,and salt merchants are the intermediary of salt sales,which is an important content in the process of Sichuan salt transportation and sales in qibian ancient salt channel.In this context,the social and political,economic,cultural and ethnic exchanges along the ancient salt road in qibian have been well developed.First of all,politically,with the specialization,collectivization and alignment of the transportation and sale of salt in qibian Ancient Salt Road,the towns along the ancient salt road developed rapidly and became the local political center.In order to facilitate the transportation of salt in qibian Ancient Salt Road,the government has reformed and adjusted the salt administration in Sichuan and Guizhou for many times.The development of qibian ancient salt road has had a significant impact on the reform and adjustment of salt administration,of course,these changes and adjustments also affect the ancient salt road in qibian.Secondly,economically,salt tax collection has always been an important economic issue in the ancient salt road of qibian.The government attached great importance to salt tax collection in the areas along the ancient salt road of qibian.In the end of the Qing Dynasty,salt tax collection in the areas along the ancient salt road of qibian was an important support for Guizhou’s financial resources.In the Qing Dynasty,the development of the markets along the ancient salt road in qibian was divided into three levels: rural market,commercial town and regional center market.In addition,the development of transportation is an important part of economic development.The Qing government built and improved the transportation along the ancient salt road in qibian for many times.Thirdly,in terms of culture,the material culture,system culture,literature and art culture along the ancient salt road of qibian in the Qing Dynasty were greatly developed.Food and transportation in material culture are the representatives of its development,while institutional culture is based on the development of "salt pan salt" system.The creation of literary and artistic Chinese works and drama culture developed greatly along the ancient salt road of qibian in the Qing Dynasty.There are many kinds of ethnic minorities living along the ancient salt road in qibian,and there are various types of ethnic exchanges.First of all,many ethnic groups have become the salt men in the ancient salt road of qibian,thus promoting the transformation of the production mode that used to be dominated by farming.The commercial trade with salt as the main commodity also developed along the ancient salt road in qibian,and also formed a unique and benign commodity trading mode,which has a great effect on the economic exchanges of all ethnic groups.In a word,the political,economic,cultural and ethnic exchanges and integration of the areas along the ancient salt road in qibian of the Qing Dynasty developed to a certain extent.To study the social development along the qibian Ancient Salt Road,summarize the gains and losses of the development process,and explore the law of its historical development can not only enrich the research on the history of salt industry in Guizhou,but also provide some reference for the research on the social history of Guizhou. |
