Causes And Solutions Insufficient Interpreting In Consecutive Interpreting From Spanish To Chinese

An important criterion for evaluating the quality of interpreting is the completeness of information.However,due to the immediacy,variability and complexity of interpreting,interpreters would be interfered by external factors and their own psychological quality in the interpreting activities.It is easy for the interpreter to be unbalanced in energy distribution,so far so to cause insufficient interpreting impeding the communications.Based on mock conference of the second Forum of Latin America and the Caribbean on Sustainable Development,this article analyzes and studies the phenomenon of insufficient interpreting,explore the reasons,and propose specific countermeasures to solve the problem.This article firstly,collecting and sorting out the literature,defines the insufficient interpreting and proposes its classification;secondly,based on the specific examples in the case,it is divided into the following three types:unconscious omissions,conscious unintentional omissions and conscious intentional omissions;the five specific manifestations of these three types are:C language omission,intensive information omission,digital information omission,key information omission and logical expression omission;thirdly,it is concluded that the main reasons for insufficient interpreting are in the listening and identifying process and in the note-taking process;finally,the strategies are proposed from three aspects:improving listening and comprehension skills,perfecting the note-taking system,and strengthening daily training.
