| Nowadays,countries are increasingly connected with each other and have extensive exchanges and cooperation in political,cultural,economic and trade fields.Over the past four decades of reform and opening up,China has been constantly integrating itself into the world,which has brought more opportunities to China and other countries in the world.Therefore,more and more foreigners are willing to come to China for tourism,business communication and study.With the proposal of foreign minister Wang Yi’s "eight major actions against Africa" and the deepening of China-Africa cooperation on "Belt and Road",more and more African students choose to study Chinese in China,and gradually,scholars have begun to pay more attention to the Chinese teaching about African students.In the Chinese teaching of African students,the listening teaching at the primary stage is very important.The achievement of Chinese listening class and the ability to understand the words of others will directly affect the achievement of other Chinese classes and the ability of African students to communicate with others in Chinese.This paper is based on the previous studies on the listening teaching of primary stage,the Chinese teaching of African students,and my own teaching practice at Henan University of Technology.And this paper mainly through classroom observation and listening tests,surveys the African students regarding English as official language,and studies some problems they encountered on initials,finals and tones in the process of primary Chinese listening learning.Besides,in order to know more about students’ listening learning situation,I questionnaire African students and communicate with Chinese listening teachers,including the teachers’ and students’opinions about each other,Chinese listening classes,listening teaching materials and listening content.And on this basis,I summarize all of them and analyze four important factors that may influence African students’ primary listening teaching:language,students,teachers and culture.Finally,I put forward some appropriate teaching suggestions about listening teaching content and suggestions for listening teachers and African students at the primary level. |
