This article is to study the traditional visual design of traditional festivals from the perspective of new media,and to take cultural and creative derivative products as application objects.This article analyzes the impact and change of the development and intervention of new media technology on the field of visual design,and how the new features of visual design in the current new media environment inject new blood into the traditional cultural expressions of the traditional culture and fully explore its vision.Formal language for innovative applications.The article takes the theory of "cultural self-confidence" as the starting point,leading to the country’s emphasis and affirmation of traditional culture.Taking the "Forbidden City Taobao" as an example,in response to the national call and keeping up with the aesthetic trend of the current era,a series of cultural and creative products have been developed.Once launched on the market,it swept the whole society.The author believes that traditional festivals as a "big IP" in traditional culture are more excavable and can be used as a "brand" to conduct research.However,the current visual performance of festival culture is still based on past aesthetic styles,failing to meet the modern young public aesthetics.Consistent habits.In the era of the new media environment,how to develop a set of custom cultural visual design that conforms to the visual aesthetic habits and communication habits of contemporary young people,so that the custom shows a new look.Then deduce the main point of this article: starting from the research on the appeal of traditional festival visual image,looking for the meeting point between traditional and modern,and using the new form of visual design expression under the new media perspective to conduct in-depth research.The structure of the whole paper is mainly developed from five aspects,in order: the first chapter introduces the research purpose and significance of the topic,the research method,and the current research status;the second chapter is the research report on creative needs,The author conducts a questionnaire survey on the current awareness of festivals and customs,and also surveys and consults visual design works related to festivals at home and abroad.The analysis concludes two points: the current visual design works of festivals are mixed,and it is worthwhile to design and create;the general public has a highdegree of interest in traditional festival culture,and believes that it is necessary and meaningful to understand,and proves this creation It is meaningful;the theoretical research report in Chapter 3 details the cultural significance and the connotation of festival activities,taking the Dragon Boat Festival as an example.Combined with the investigation and analysis conclusions in the first part,several important festivals are screened out.Vulgar activities are convenient for later design creation.Secondly,it also sorted out the concept of new media and the changes in the new features of interactive design that bring dynamic and multi-sensory participation to visual design,so as to be reflected in the later design creation;the creative process report in the fourth chapter records the author’s creation The process and the ups and downs of the experience,how to finally find a more satisfactory visual expression style,and the final design and application product display;the fifth chapter is the summary of the creative research,which reviews some of the experiences and deficiencies in this creative process.
