The Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Of Hongze Lake Yugu

A number of historical sites around the world have been wrecked since the 20th century.For protecting the heritage of humanity,the United Nations announced Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural Heritage and Natural Heritage.As a special part of the world heritage,the intangible cultural heritage is urgently needed to be rescued and safeguarded.There is a number of the intangible cultural heritage in China.Protecting and taking advantage of the intangible cultural heritage is good for the cohesion and continuation of the ethos,as well as the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation.The protection of Chinese intangible cultural heritage started very late and it was very complex and difficult.According to the government of China,the policy of the intangible cultural heritage is ’to protect mainly,rescue first,use rationally,inherit and develop’.Comparing with the material cultural heritage,it stresses on ’inheritance,development and utilization’.Through reviewing the research progress of the intangible cultural heritage at home and abroad,the paper analyzes and evaluates the conception,nature and conversation status of it of China comprehensively.It also explores the protecting methods of yugu,a bamboo drum of Hongze Lake in many dimensions by combining the conversation status in Bancheng,Sihong Suqian,Jiangsu Province.The most famous one among the rich and colourful intangible cultural heritage of Hongze Lake in Bancheng Sihong is ’Hongze Lake yugu’.Nowadays,the protection of this ancient folk culture is facing the danger of loss of successors.It is urgent to seek an effective measure to protect and rescue the ’Hongze yugu’.Based on the analysis of the historical origin and value connotation of ’Hongze Lake yugu’,this paper reviews the current development of "Hongze Lake yugu" with the methods of literature research method,visiting investigation and multi-disciplinary cross research.And it finds out the difficulties of protecting ’Hongze Lake yugu’ at present,including the low degree of government protection,the loss of successors and living environment and the lack of culture promulgation work.This paper analyses these problems and puts forward the protection plan and strategy,which opens up a way for intangible cultural heritage protection with local characteristics.According to the research,the protection methods can be from the goods pattern,brand pattern,park pattern,etc.We should make sure of the development orientation,pay attention to the brand effect.We also need to protect yugu by carrying out the tourism.At the same time,there should be the support from the government,including monkey,cultural education which can lay a solid foundation among people,the development of living environment and cultural atmosphere,such as the Yugu Square,the culture streets and so on.
