Lingyan Temple not only plays an important role in the Buddhist monasteries in Shandong,but also is a famous ancient temple in China.Its legacy of stone statues and inscription resources are very rich,inscription is a direct record of history,so it has more research value.Judging from the overall situation of Chinese Buddhist history,the Song Dynasty was a period of decline and turning point of the monastery economy,and a new change occurred in the development to the Yuan Dynasty.Land economy is an important part of the temple economy,and the income to support the basic needs and development of Lingyan Temple mainly comes from land,followed by shops and shops.The establishment of shops and shops is not only the result of land use and operation,but also the advanced form of land and management utilization.This article is divided into the following sections:First of all,Lingyan Temple existing Song Yuan period inscriptions a total of more than a hundred pass,mainly concentrated in the Temple of the Like,the Temple of heaven,the Royal Book Pavilion and the tomb of tallinn several places.The main contents of the form include the tower inscription,the ode monument,the note-keeping monument,the boundary monument,the poem carving and the travel monument.Among them,there are 19 links related to the land economy,mainly located in the Royal Book Pavilion,the Temple of Heaven and the Tomb of Tallinn.Secondly,combined with the economic environment of monasteries under the specific era,the land economic situation of Lingyan Temple in Song,Jin and Yuan Dynasties is discussed.At the same time,the land economic development of Lingyan Temple in the Song Yuan Period is briefly compared vertically with that of the Tang Dynasty,and the relevant policies of Daxiang Guoji Temple,Puxian Temple and some royal monasteries are referred to to conduct a horizontal analysis to explore the economic situation of Lingyan Temple and the importance that the secular regime attaches to Lingyan Temple.Third,from the inscription information to see the source of Lingyan Temple land and the use of the way.The main sources of Lingyan Temple fields are the royal land,the purchase of land and the reclamation of wasteland.The economic benefits of land,especially in the Yuan Dynasty,were most abundant,which stemmed from the support of the rulers of the Yuan Dynasty for the development of Buddhism and the protection of monastery property.Lingyan Temple income mainly comes from agriculture,planting and trading grain,fruit trees,bamboo and trees.Most of the expenses incurred in supporting Lingyan Temple come from agricultural income,and the monks’ self-cultivation is combined with the form of rent.Lingyan Temple business and d’ed shop industry is also very prosperous,operating shops,long-lived library,residence shops and workshops.Finally,the change of the court policy in the Song Dynasty had an important influence on the temple economy.Early Song was in desperate need of social stability,so he supported Buddhism,but then ushered in a turning point,increasing taxes while more stringent control over the monastery economy.The Jin Dynasty liberated the second-tax households and abolished the second-tax household system.In the Yuan Dynasty,the temple economy ushered in a new transformation,the Rulers of the Mongolian Yuan supported the development of Buddhism,while protecting the temple industry.Yuan Dynasty temple property originally owned by the state,but returned to the monastery,so the development is more rapid.
