Research On The Construction Of Chinese Cultural Soft Power Under The Background Of The Belt And Road Initiative

Cultural soft power is intangible,stable,and immaterial,and plays an important role in the development of a country’s foreign policy.With the rise of China,the "China Threat Theory" has clamored into the dust.In response to the siege of eastern China and the strategic doubts of the United States,China proposed a "westward advance" strategy.In the face of new problems and challenges emerging at home and abroad,China has constructed a new model of cooperation to further expand its opening-up,and coordinate the overall situation of domestic and foreign countries to effectively deal with the predicament of China’s rise.As a long-term work focusing on building relations between countries,the construction of the"Belt and Road" requires a balance of huge hard power and cultural soft power.The "Belt and Road"initiative is not only an economic belt for my country to carry out economic cooperation with countries along the route.Under the current situation where cultural soft power measures a country’s comprehensive national strength,it uses cultural soft power to help the construction of the "Belt and Road" and firmly grasp the "Belt and Road".The opportunity period of construction will enhance China’s international status and influence.At the same time,the soft power of Chinese culture in the context of the "Belt and Road" requires multiple efforts from Chinese and foreign cultural exchanges,international media communication,and talent training.China’s "Belt and Road"construction has been launched,and the construction of China’s cultural soft power still faces problems such as soft attacks from Western countries and insufficient political mutual trust among countries along the route.How to use Chinese cultural soft power to promote the construction of the"Belt and Road" is a question worthy of discussion.This article is divided into four parts:The first part expounds the significance of cultural soft power research to the construction of the "Belt and Road",and sorts out the current research status at home and abroad.The second part defines the connotation of soft power and cultural soft power based on the research status at home and abroad,analyzes the composition and characteristics of cultural soft power,and elaborates the value logic of enhancing Chinese cultural soft power under the background of "One Belt and One Road".The third part is the evaluation and analysis of the current situation of China’s cultural soft power construction,and on this basis,it analyzes the reasons why China’s cultural soft power is facing challenges.The fourth part discusses the countermeasures and suggestions of China’s cultural soft power construction based on the challenges of China’s cultural soft power construction under the background of "One Belt and One Road".
