The documentary "I’m not an Internet celebrity" focuses on the Internet users’ pursuit of traffic, and truly records the efforts and attempts of two marginal figures in the "Internet Carnival".One of the characters is Xu Ziyue. When she was shooting her pet hamster, she had the idea of shooting short videos. With the increase of fans, she made hamster snacks at home and started live broadcasting, and at the same time, she acted as an agent for related products to get commission. The other character is Huahua. She wanted to try short videos to start her own business, shoot some emotional and inspirational videos, and at the same time, she insisted on live broadcasting every day.The growth rate of fans was very slow, but she continues to shoot videos every day.The two characters are quite different in character and life experience,They try their best to get into the ranks of net celebrities. In their efforts, they want to get rid of the bondage of this goal.Facing the choice of life stage, they have the same ideological struggle and anxiety.Under the background of "Internet Carnival",combined with the creation process of the documentary "I’m not an Internet celebrity",the author studies the combination of real record and performance narrative in the process of documentary creation, and completes the creation interpretation of the documentary from three aspects: the early shooting plan, the creation process of image presentation, and the innovation breakthrough of narrative expression.
