The main research object of traffic history is the traffic development in the historical period,including traffic routes,traffic facilities,means of transportation(vehicles,ships,etc.),traffic management system,etc.During the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period,China was in a state of division,and wars occurred frequently.In the war between countries,the advance of the army,the transportation of materials,and the migration of people are all closely related to transportation.It can be said that the completeness of a country’s transportation system determines its territorial scale,defense capability and administrative efficiency.The study of historical traffic geography is of great significance to the study of politics,economy and culture in historical period.If we can comb the transportation system of the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period carefully,we can have a more comprehensive understanding of the complex historical events at that time.In view of this,this paper will use the theory of philology,historical geography,history and other disciplines,and combine the handed down literature,unearthed materials and topography,to analyze the traffic situation of Qi and Lu region in the spring and autumn and Warring States period,that is,the current Shandong Province and its surrounding areas,including the traffic routes and the traffic facilities involved in the three perspectives of land,inland river and sea transportation In order to have a comprehensive understanding of the traffic situation in Shandong at that time,the paper studies the traffic system.
