Application Of Dunhuang Caisson Pattern In Ceramics

Dunhuang caisson pattern is rich in content and beautifully drawn,which is a dazzling pearl in Dunhuang grottoes art and an important part of Chinese traditional art.This paper mainly focuses on the redesign and application of Dunhuang caisson pattern in ceramic decoration.By analyzing and summarizing the research status of Dunhuang caisson pattern at home and abroad and the application cases in modern design,and combining with the analysis and research of the decorative development,structural changes and color configuration characteristics of Dunhuang caisson pattern in different periods,we can have a deeper understanding of the charm of Dunhuang caisson pattern and further promote the national traditional culture.Finally,on the basis of theoretical research,the Dunhuang caisson pattern is applied to ceramic decoration design,and a series of innovative ceramic art works are created.Through practice,the charm of combining tradition with modernity is fully displayed,and its application value in ceramic decoration design is explored.
