| In ancient China,Song Dynasty is a period of cultural transformation.At the time the rise of Neo-Confucianism leads to the evolution of ritual and music culture.Although the ceremony system in the Song Dynasty extended the same ritual and music culture was used in the Tang Dynasty,it has also been promoted and improved by the time.For one thing,as the creature of this period,"Tai Chang Yin Ge Li" reflects the evolution of the ceremony system in the Northern Song Dynasty,and for another,it added new chapters in addition to the "Five Ceremonies".Therefore,"Tai Chang Yin Ge Li" recording the ceremony activities of the Song Dynasty.This article based on historical materials,while using the research methods of history,philology,and music history to explore the ritual and music culture in "Tai Chang Yin Ge Li".The article takes the Song Dynasty ritual music as a point to explore the expression of music culture,the perspective of ceremony music also the inheritance and development under the political and cultural background at that time.The author believes that using this research method can not only understand the position and value of "Tai Chang Yin Ge Li",but also can truly restore the music temperaments,instruments,and standards of ritual music in ceremony activities in Northern Song to analysis the ruler’s perspective to ceremony music in the Northern Song Dynasty.The main body of the article has three parts: the first part of compilation of "Tai Chang Yin Ge Li" focusing on three sections: the first section analyzes the background of ritual music in the Northern Song Dynasty;the second section analyzes the reasons of writing this book,the compilation background and its main purposes;the third section analyzes the compilation characteristics of "Tai Chang Yin Ge Li".The second part emphasizes on researching the classification of music materials appeared in "Tai Chang Yin Ge Li",which could be described by two sections.The first section is going to analysis the detail of standards and rules of the ritual music in the ceremony which involved in "Tai Chang Yin Ge Li";In the second section,there are classification,summarization and analyzation of specific sequence and content for ritual music appearing in sacrificial banquet activities by description of "Tai Chang Yin Ge Li·Xin Li".This part discusses the characteristics,inheritance and evolution of ritual music system when the ruler of Song Dynasty formulating the temperaments,instruments,sequences and dances involved in ritual music.In third part,there is a comprehensive exploration for ritual and music culture mentioned before in two parts,mean to analysis the innovation and inheritance of ritual and music culture in ceremony activities in Northern Song Dynasty. |
