The COVID-19 epidemic in 2020 has affected people’s lives, and the death toll is growing out of control. The plague, known as the Black Death, swept across Europe between 1347 and 1353,killing a third of the continent’s population. With the development of science and technology, although can reduce the number of deaths, but can not prevent disaster. When faced with the loss of a large number of lives, death in the powerless human face is particularly terrible. This paper is based on the form of artistic expression, using a specific artistic language to express the nothingness, transience and fragility of life.Through the exploration and research of the existence meaning of life,we can fundamentally understand the positive meaning that death brings to life and demonstrate the complementary relationship between life and death. The ceramic skull is placed on the transparent acrylic circular plate and the porcelain plate from the whole to the broken, from the aggregation to the diffusion,to show the passing of life.Transparent acrylic plate under the pressure and "love" related poetry, gathering the warmth of the world,is above the transparent square acrylic plate hanging skeleton, closed space and skeleton form a contrast. The whole ceramic art work shows the gradual disappearance of life,so that people can feel the fragility of life, and then cherish life and face death squarely. But in the face of the inevitability of death,we should always look at our value as human beings.Death is just a process of life. What you leave to the world is not really death. In fact, death makes our life more meaningful.Death gives us vitality and concentration.Death makes life valuable and gives us goals and tasks to impulse and pursue. If there was no death, nothing would matter. As we explore death,we become more aware of the value of life.
