Investigation And Research On Lu’an Drum Music In Shangdang District Of Changzhi,Shanxi Province

Shanxi Province is one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization,with a long history and profound cultural heritage.At the same time,it is also one of the birthplaces of Chinese opera art.It is known as the "cradle of opera".It has bred many opera and folk arts with regional characteristics,such as Jin opera,Pu opera,Beilu opera,Shangdang opera,Lu’an drum and Zhangzi Gushu.Lu’an Dagu,a kind of Quyi,originated from Lu’an prefecture(now Changzhi City,Shanxi Province),which began in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty and has a history of more than 300 years.Now it is mainly popular in Changzhi City,Zhangzi,Qinxian,Huguan and other counties in Shanxi Province.In 2006,Lu’an Dagu was listed in the first batch of "National Intangible Cultural Heritage Representative List".The language of the song is simple,with local characteristics and flexible performance forms.It reflects the daily life of the people and is popular with the people.This paper is supported by field study in ethnomusicology,and the theory knowledge of geography,anthropology,folklore and other disciplines as theoretical support.After expounding the social and cultural background of Changzhi City,this paper analyzes the historical development of Lu’an drum and its representative works in different periods.This paper makes a horizontal analysis of the various aspects of the music noumenon,such as the aria,lyrics,accompaniment instruments,performance forms and tunes,so as to further explore the artistic style characteristics of Lu’an drum in the aspects of the relationship between the aria and lyrics and the characteristics of lyrics.Taking Shangdang District of Changzhi city as the main research area,this paper analyzes the current situation,performance activities and inheritance and development modes of Wang Haiyan rap art troupe.At the same time,the author explores the factors and conditions of its cultural changes,and thinks about how to better inherit and protect it,how to adapt to the needs of society while keeping pace with the times,and how to maintain its dependent living environment.Through the above different research methods and research content,the author can clearly explain the progressive relationship between theory and practice,so as to more comprehensive understanding of Lu’an drum and its development status.And call on local people and folk artists in Changzhi to better excavate,inherit and protect them,so as to promote the development and inheritance of this precious music.
