Understanding And Application Of "Drawing Languag As The Times" In The Creation Of Contemporary Landscape Painting

In the historical development of landscape painting,landscape paintings in different times have different characteristics of pen and ink,creating quite different artistic conception of painting and reflecting its unique spirit of the times.At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty,the taste of painting catered to the market,blindly emphasizing copying the ancient,while being influenced by the market economy,ignoring the spirit of artistic innovation.In this context,Shi Tao put forward that "pen and ink should follow the times" and opposed to blindly following the trend,which was not influenced by the trend of the times and created a new era of landscape painting.Landscape painting has its own law of development,and there are great differences in the general environment of artists in each dynasty.If only the traditional pen and ink form is followed,it will be difficult for landscape painting to make a breakthrough.This paper mainly studies the artistic conception expression of landscape painting under the contemporary background.With the development of traditional landscape painting for thousands of years,a complete pen and ink system has been formed.By contrast,contemporary landscape painting is only in its initial stage.Under such a development situation,contemporary landscape painting shows a dilemma in development.This paper analyzes the pen and ink characteristics of contemporary landscape painting,and summarizes the causes and concrete manifestations of the dilemma in the development of contemporary landscape painting.The development of contemporary landscape painting is inseparable from the contemporary social environment,and it is difficult to express contemporary people’s emotional expression by traditional pen and ink.In such an environment,it is necessary to explore the development direction of contemporary landscape painting.
