A Study On The Epidemic Situation Report Of The Northeast Plague(1910-1911) In Shengjing Times

Foucault in the 20 th century pointed out that knowledge is formed through discourse practice,and discourse practice is described through knowledge.As a medium of collective memory,news not only records facts but also remakes historical events.Nurtured by the capital of Japan,Shengjing Times has been criticized by people at that time and later generations for its news-nature of "knowing current affairs" and its morality of "knowing citizens’ duty" since its birth.Based on the 1910 to 1911 in China "northeast plague" of the northeast to the far-reaching historical events as the research object,the paper involved the northeast plague of 1294 series report,journalism perspective and history method analyzes the series of reports on this major public health emergencies of pattern,framework and tendentiousness and the idea behind the news text.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part presents the macro structure of the 1294 plague reports of Shengjing Times,mainly focusing on the number of reports,the distribution of news sources,news themes and subjects,so as to present the reporting form and framework of Shengjing Times in the epidemic report in the form of visual data.In the second part,the image of the subject of the report is analyzed by literature analysis,so as to reveal the portraits of the epidemic figures in Shengjing Times,and further explore their news positions and tendencies.The third part analyzes the strategies,editing techniques and discourse of the series reports with the visual fault of discourse,and then reveals the metaphor contained in the series reports of plague in the newspaper,in an attempt to provide a fair and objective judgment and evaluation for the series reports of plague in the northeast of Shengjing Times.
