The construction of "B&R" has promoted the cooperation between China and Thailand in various fields,and the Chinese teaching in Thailand has also developed vigorously.However,there are still many problems in the teaching and the teaching effect is not ideal.Many teach ing cases in Thailand show that Thai students prefer audio-lingual method.Meanwhile,games are also an indispensable means of Chinese teaching in Thai schools.In this paper,the application of games in the teaching of audio-lingual method,combined with the case of Chinese teaching practice in Khu Khan Middle School,to explore the application of games in audio-lingual method,proving that the application of games in audio-lingual method in Thai Chinese teaching is feasible and effective.Firstly,by means of literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and other methods,this paper makes a comprehensive investigation of the Chinese teaching status of grade two students in Khu Khan Middle School,Thailand,and has a deep grasp of its teachers,teaching materials,teaching methods and students’ Chinese learning situation.Then combined with the learning characteristics of Khukhan Middle School students,comments on the advantages and disadvantages of audio-lingual method,and analyzes the necessity and feasibility of game s in audio-lingual method.Based on the above research and analysis,this paper explores the application of games in the teaching of audio-lingual method,focuses on the case of the application of games in the teaching of audio-lingual method,excavates the function of games in the teaching of audio-lingual method,and explores the application of games in the teaching of audio-lingual method from this perspective.Finally,some suggestions on the application of games in the audio-lingual method are put forward:to improve the comprehensive quality of Chinese teachers;Chinese textbooks should be compiled according to user’ needs;Student-oriented,individualized teaching;audio-lingual method is given priority to,focus on the functionality of the game;establish a database of Chinese teaching.
