| The preparatory education of foreign international students has been booming and the new publishing "Learning in China" series are specially targeted for foreign international students’ pre-education,which state that they can help to pass the corresponding level of HSK tests.That means the primary and intermediate textbooks can pass the HSK tests of level 1-4.The more content of the textbooks cover the syllabus,the more likely learners are to pass the corresponding level of HSK test after learning the textbooks.To pass the HSK test of level 4 at 180 is the very least Chinese language ability standard for admission to universities with Chinese Government Scholarship.This paper studies the matching degree between the "Learning in China"(primary and intermediate level)textbooks and the HSK 1-4 Test Syllabus,it is necessary to check whether the textbooks can really help the foreign students pass HSK tests.This paper is divided into six parts.The first chapter "Introduction" introduces the basis and significance of topic selection,research methods,research objects and related research overview.The paper makes comparative analysis of Learning in China(primary and intermediate level)and HSK Test Syllabus(2015 Edition)by statistical analysis and Chart Analysis,from vocabulary,grammar,topic,exercise and examination question,which is to fully grasp the characteristics of Learning in China.Teachers and students can make full preparation to HSK tests according to the characteristics,so that the passing rate of HSK tests will be increased.At last,suggestions are given to textbook revision and the ways of using the books to help foreign students learn Chinese well and to promote Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language better and better.Vocabulary is talked in the second chapter through the comparative analysis of the textbooks and the HSK Test Syllabus.it is concluded that the coverage rate to the first and second level vocabulary is higher than that to the third and fourth level.And the overall coverage rate is not low.In addition,the reappearance rate of vocabulary is relatively low,but the books have words related to real life and technology,which make the books more interesting.Grammar is talked in the third chapter through the comparative analysis of the textbooks and the HSK Test Syllabus.it is concluded that the coverage to the first and second level of syllabus grammar is higher than that to the third and fourth level,the overall coverage rate is relatively low.Topic is talked in the fourth chapter through the comparative analysis of the textbooks and the HSK Test Syllabus.It is concluded that the textbook lacks major topics,such as experience and comprehension.The coverage rate of the textbooks to the subtopics and specific topics of the syllabus is less than 50%,the coverage to the syllabus topics in the textbooks is relatively low,especially in the second,third and fourth level.Exercise and examination question are talked in the fifth chapter through the comparative analysis of the textbooks and the HSK Test Syllabus.It is concluded that the coverage rate to the HSK Test questions from level 1 to Level 4 is nearly100%.Apart from the writing task is slightly more difficult than that in HSK Tests,the teaching material exercises are very specific to HSK Tests.The conclusion is that it is easy to pass the HSK Test of level 1-2,but it is challenging to pass the HSK Test of level 3-4 after studying "Learning in China"(primary and intermediate level)textbooks.At last,some suggestions are given to revise or use the textbooks,such as adding some narrative and expository forms to break the single dialogue form,so that the topics can be added,and the words and grammars can be expanded to promote the development of preparatory teaching. |
