| The tone of Chinese plays an significant important role in teaching Chinese as a second language,as well as one of the difficulties meanwhile.The principal objective of Chinese teaching is to enable learners to have a dialogue or conversation in Chinese flexibly and fluently.Consequently,it is extremely important to help Chinese learners to master the Chinese tone exactly.This dissertation is separated into five portions.The first chapter mainly introduces the research motivation,research significance,the source of corpus and three specific methods.The second chapter is the design and result analysis of the experiment of monosyllabic and disyllabic listening discrimination for primary Chinese learners from the Confucius Institute of Antananarivo University in Madagascar.The listening and discrimination experiment was carried out by government-sponsored teachers with grade 2A Chinese proficiency.The reading materials selected 20 individual characters and 16 disyllabic words.The process of the experiment is to ask the students to determine which tone of the four tones is the individual character or the disyllabic word in the aural comprehension,and mark the corresponding Chinese tone.The analysis method adopted by the author is to retrieve all the test papers,record the type and number of errors of the experimental subject with Excel,and calculate the error rate,thereupon then get the mastery of the four tones and the difficulty sequencing of learning the four tones of Malagasy elementary Chinese students.The third chapter is the experimental design and result analysis of the monosyllabic and disyllabic characters tone production.It consists of the purpose of the research,the target of the research,the materials of the research,the procedure of the test and the analysis of the outcome,Among the experimental steps,the first step is the sound recording of the experimental samples of 40 research subjects,and the second step is to use the way of listening and discrimination to make the corresponding data statistics of errors.The third step is to use Praat phonological analysis software to tally the base frequency of research samples,and the fourth step is to process the base frequency.The results were analyzed from the judgmental and phonation articulation of native speakers.The fourth chapter analyzes the errors of students’ tone acquisition in line with the outcome of the experiment and survey by questionnaire.The author analyses successively from the theoretical phases,teaching factors and learner’s own reasons.The fifth chapter raises the corresponding instructional strategy be aimed at the circumstances of students’ particular errors,mainly from the aspects of teaching devices,students,teachers and teaching materials. |
