| Facing the reality of late capitalism,Habermas explores the problems of the life world.Starting from the two elements of system and life world,he analyzed the reality,traditional metaphysics and modernity of late capitalism.This article starts from the logical thread of the purpose of human liberation,to study Habermas’ theory of the world of life.It was Husserl who first turned to the theory of life world,and Habermas developed it on the basis of absorbing and borrowing his ideas.The life world proposed by Habermas includes two perspectives: transcendental and empirical,including three worlds: the subjective world,the objective world,and the social world.These three worlds are unified in the communicative behavior,and the communicative behavior is the guidance of the communicative rationality.The behaviors produced by the next generation are communicatively reasonable,but the behaviors of people in late capitalism are not communicatively reasonable,because late capitalism faces a crisis of legitimacy and rationality,and the public sphere that originally had a critical function has already Starting to become a tool of certain interest groups,most people are forced to start losing their pursuit of freedom and meaning.Habermas criticizes the rational crisis brought about by instrumental rationality,and believes that under the guidance of instrumental rationality,the system transcends its own boundaries and intrudes into the realm of the life world,exerting control over people to a certain extent,squeezing people’s freedom of thought and development The space of critical consciousness,that is,the problem of colonization in the world of life.In order to solve such a system crisis,Habermas proposed to rebuild historical materialism,introduce communicative rationality,and construct an ideal communication environment in which people can communicate on an equal footing through universal pragmatics,negotiating ethics,deliberative democracy and other theories.People can communicate sincerely and equally,and realize the liberation of themselves and the liberation of others.At the end of the thesis,I also explained the value and limitations of Habermas’ theory of the world of life.The value of Habermas’ theory of the world of life is to increase the resolution of modernity problems,regulate the conflict between metaphysics and post-metaphysics,and enrich the theory of human liberation.At the same time,Habermas’ life-world theory is a hopeful language utopia,a beautiful yearning for mankind,and it will take some time for it to appear in practice and reach the level of Habermas’ construction. |
