With people’s attention to traditional culture, cultural computing has become a research hotspot.Choosing the appropriate display means to present these cultural data to the public in a more intuitive way is the last and indispensable part of cultural computing. With the replacement of new technologies, people’s visual desire is increasing, and the demands of personalization and immersion experience are coming.Traditional culture display is facing new challenges. It is urgent to use digital display to display culture. This paper studies the digital display technology and explores its design principles and methods in the digital display of traditional culture.Combined with the design and implementation of cultural computing, the digital display system of traditional culture oriented to cultural computing can effectively protect and inherit the traditional culture of China. The main work and innovation of this paper are as follows:(1)The research of traditional culture digital display technology based on Kinect. In view of the lack of interaction in traditional culture digital display and the lack of variety of action recognition in the field of human-computer interaction, this paper uses Kinect to capture human motion data, defines and implements a variety of interactive action algorithms based on the angle and position characteristics of human joint points, and applies them to the digital display of ceramic culture. So as to expand Kinect human-computer interaction, and provide the public with interactive experience of ceramic culture digital display.(2)Propose an interactive projection technology which combines digital projection with Kinect. In view of the lack of interactive digital projection, this paper proposes a new interactive projection technology which combines digital projection and Kinect.Firstly, the projector is used to project the feature image to the projection surface. Then, the camera is used to capture the projection image.According to the feature points on the feature image, the geometric correction algorithm based on homography matrix is used to correct the projection distortion image. Then, the edge fusion algorithm is used to attenuate the brightness of the overlapped projection image, and the complete smooth projection image without distortion is obtained. Finally, combined with Kinect human-computer interaction technology, the interaction between projection picture and users is realized, and it is applied to digital display of ceramic culture to realize interactive ceramic projection display.(3)The research of traditional culture digital display technology based on HTCVIVE.In view of the weak immersion of traditional culture digital display, this paper studies HTCVIVE digital display technology and explores its technical route.Taking the carpet culture as the research object, the virtual model is constructed by using 3DMax modeling tool, and it is imported into Unity3D engine to build a complete virtual scene. Then,AABB bounding box collision detection algorithm is used to add AABB bounding box to the virtual model in the cultural scene to simulate the collision between static objects and dynamic objects. Finally, the HTCVIVE interaction handle is studied to realize the immersive virtual cultural scene interaction.(4)Development and implementation of digital display system of typical traditional culture for cultural computing. In order to meet the needs of users and system business, three kinds of digital display technologies are integrated, and the cultural content collected, stored or processed in a variety of cultural resource databases is taken as the data source.A typical traditional culture digital display system for cultural computing is designed and implemented.
