China is a state of etiquette.From Xi,a Shang and Zhou Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties,etiquette has run through the context of Chinese culture.Its etiquette is not only limited to external ceremonies,but also integrates and permeates with traditional Chinese philosophy,religion,politics,morality,culture.At the same time,it is relatively independent,with a unique content and distinctive characteristics.As far as traditional Chinese Confucianism is concerned,ritual is its core component,but from the actual historical situation,ritual is not completely limited to Confucianism.As a basic classic in rites,the Book of Rites deeply shows the inheritance and development of the early rites.This paper starts from the Senior and Junior Dai Liji,and integrates the relevant materials of other documents to see the inheritance and development of Confucius disciples.This paper is discussed from four aspects.Chapter the first of the destruction of social rites and Confucius,with the Spring and Autumn society as the background,show the social phenomenon of the period,lay a foundation for understanding Confucius’ thinking,elaboration and communication,and then summarize from the literature analysis of Confucius’ ritual thought,including the inner spirit and rich connotation of rites,and the significance of the construction of modern society.Chapter second,Junior Dai Liji about Zeng Zi inheriting“Rites”,through the Senior and Junior Dai Liji deeply discuss the thought of ritual,through the thorough analysis of Confucius disciples if the influence on Zeng Zi,can find the theoretical source of thought,on this basis of further research on the connotation of the ritual,which is of great significance to in-depth study of Zeng Zi.Chapter third,Junior Dai Liji Ziyou inheriting“Rites”.Ziyou is one of the most important "ritual" among Confucius disciples,which won the true biography of Confucius.The Book of Confucius.This chapter only takes funeral as an example to show Ziyou’s contribution in discussing,studying and spreading the thought of etiquette.The fourth chapter,The Book of Rites,is seen in other disciples,which take Zi Zhang and Zixia as an example to illustrate the ritual thought of governance and rule of virtue.As the society develops,the ritual and music system is also changing accordingly.In the face of the frequent and turbulent social environment,ritual still has its certain value and role to a certain extent.Through the records of Confucius and his disciples in the Senior and Junior Dai Liji,the development and changes of rites in that era can be discussed.Whether matter from the ritual system itself or extending to the deeper level of rites and justice,ritual is not only the code of conduct for people to restrain themselves,but also the general standard of social relations,which deeply reflected the changes of society and people’s ideas at that time.To sum up,ritual and music culture is the value orientation of advocating benevolence,righteousness and morality and living in harmony with nature,others and society.In the process of historical development,it gradually becomes the core value concept of the Chinese nation spirit.The ritual and music culture advocated by Confucius and his disciples has played an important role in the shaping and improvement of the spirit of the Chinese nation.
