| Reform and opening up is the most contemporary social practice with Chinese characteristics.The TV play telling the story of reform is an important window for China to show itself to the world.Therefore,it is of great academic value and practical significance to study the typical images in China’s reform-themed teleplays and clarify their basic types,aesthetic features,shaping methods and social significance.First of all,the paper systemically sorts out the development of the reform teleplays in the past forty years.The teleplays in this paper refer to the teleplays which tell the story of reform,mold the image of reform and express the spirit of reform.According to the evolution of its aesthetic characteristics,the reform of teleplays can be divided into three stages of development.The first stage,from 1978 to 1986,is the embryonic stage of the reform of teleplays.The main features of this stage are rough screen,single plot,simple characterization,and the use of narration.The second stage,from 1987 to 2011,is the development stage of TV plays with reform theme,which breaks the original single-line narration,enriches the drama conflict and characterization,widens the choice of theme,and begins to pay attention to the important role of little people in the reform process.The third stage is the reform of TV drama blowout stage since2012,the reform of TV drama narrative content is more ambitious,time range,industry rich,multiple narrative line to promote.At the same time,the TV series with the theme of reform in this stage show different aesthetic characteristics in carrying forward socialist core values and showing the spirit of the new era.To sum up,the overall characteristics of the creation of the reform teleplays are mainly embodied in three aspects: the adaptation of the theme to the development of the times,the authenticity of the portrayal of the times,and the adaptation of the setting of the characters to the reality.Secondly,the type of the typical images in the reform teleplays is studied.Expounded the typical image of the general principles.Based on the related theories,the typical image of reform is divided into four types: economic,political,military and cultural.The image of typical economic reform contains more abundant contents,including the image of typical rural reform and the image of typical enterprise reform.The typical image of rural reform is mainly manifested in the aesthetic characteristics of unwilling to accept fate,eager to improve life,daring to innovate and take risks,industrious and simple,and full of tenacious vitality.Typical enterprise reform image is mainly shown in its advanced entrepreneur awareness,focus on technology development and brand building,with long-term vision,the integrity of the aesthetic characteristics of the operation.The aesthetic characteristics of the image of typical political reform are mainly embodied in the public servants who have the people’s livelihood and listen to the voice of the people,the political model who is not afraid of power and is not driven,and the image of typical reform with great insight and problem-solving ability.The image of typical strong army reform is embodied in excellent military accomplishment and innovative combat thinking,breaking the realistic peace filter and possessing war consciousness at all times,and the image of typical reform with frankness and straightforward personality.The images of typical cultural reform mainly show the typical images of reform with clear goals,firm ideals and beliefs,good at thinking and innovation and rich national feelings.Thirdly,the paper analyzes and discusses the methods of typical images in TV dramas with reform themes.The results show that two methods are mainly used in typical images.First,typical characters are created in typical environment,mainly from three aspects: the creation of typical scenes,the display of typical social style and features,and the main functions of typical environment.Second,abide by the principles of low-carbon art and low-carbon aesthetics,mainly from the visual reality to the objective reality of the creative path to achieve a typical image of the reform,from the aesthetic object of the external form and internal form,including the true lines,performance,real characters and social identity,as well as the true human nature of the expression and artistic authenticity of the portrayal,in-depth excavation of the multi-faceted image of the reform,to create a very realistic model of the reform image.Finally,it sublimates the realistic significance of the film and TV works,reflects the realistic problems,realizes the objective reality,stimulates the thinking of the aesthetic subject and the shaping of the free emotion,and impresses the audience deeply.Fourth,the paper further clarified the aesthetic implication of the typical reform image.Through the study of the typical reform image,it is found that the aesthetic implication of the typical reform image mainly includes: First,the contemporary Chinese spirit embodied in the typical reform image is mainly manifested in the spirit of perseverance,the spirit of pursuing dreams and the spirit of innovation.Secondly,the contemporary Chinese wisdom displayed by the typical image of reform mainly shows the Chinese wisdom of keeping pace with the times,win-win cooperation and pragmatism.Third,the typical image of reform has the contemporary Chinese value,mainly for the retrospective value of history,contemporary people’s spiritual benchmarks,contemporary people’s reflection mirror.Finally,the paper reflects on the limitations of the typical reform image.The study found that there are two major limitations in the image of the typical reform at present: over-catering to the era of empty idealized image and the stereotype of the image.Aiming at these two limitations,this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to build a realistic reform image and how to excavate the artistic authenticity of the image,hoping to see more typical reform images of different types,different styles and different personalities in the future. |
