In recent years,Chinese education TV series have adhered to the creative principles of realism,rooted in reality and revealed problems,in order to use the "truth" of art to show the "status quo" of Chinese education and solve the "dilemma" of Chinese education.It dares to face China’s education problems,focuses on the "educational anxiety" of Chinese families and involves relevant social problems,touching on the pain of reality and the pain of society.At the same time,in recent years,Chinese education TV series have provided the audience with samples of perceiving and reflecting on themselves,which is the mirror image of the audience’s self-perception,self-examination and self-judgment of real life.It can not only make the audience have a real resonance with real life,but also provide a field for the audience to examine and think about real life;it not only soothes people’s hearts,but also gives people an optimistic and positive spiritual guidance and a value guidance of truth,goodness and beauty.This paper mainly focuses on Chinese education TV series in the past five years(2015-2019),based on the social reality context and the development trend of educational TV drama creation,supported by narratology,psychology and communication related theories.From cultural appeals and narrative strategy two aspects to study my country’s educational TV dramas in recent years.On the one hand,based on the current state of education in contemporary China and the connotation of film and television texts,it analyzes the demands and realistic value of educational TV dramas.On the other hand,from the perspectives of character setting,narrative style,narrative method,etc.,it explores what narrative strategies are used in education TV series to tell stories and reveal problems;and how to use narrative strategies to achieve "imaginative solutions" to real problems.Appeal to comfort people’s hearts and value guidance.The first chapter is an overview of the development of education TV series in my country.The exploration is mainly carried out from two levels of concept definition and development process.First,define the concept of education TV series and the concept of cultural appeal.Secondly,it sorts out the development process of education TV series,and summarizes its development process into three stages.And use typical works as the research text to further explain the creative rules and creative characteristics of my country’s education TV series at different stages.The second chapter is about the cultural demands of Chinese education TV series.First of all,it analyzes the educational problems presented in Chinese education TV series from the three dimensions of educational concepts,educational unfairness,and educational quality.Secondly,it explores the cultural demands of education TV series in recent years,and summarizes their demands into three levels: advocating a healthy and correct view of education,shaping an equal and harmonious parent-child view,and conveying a positive outlook on life.Chapter Three is about the narrative strategy of Chinese education TV series in recent years.This chapter mainly starts with the contrasting character setting,the narrative style of light comedy,the narrative method of "life flow" and "Happy Reunion" ending.It studies the narrative strategies of Chinese education TV series in recent years,and summarizes the narratives in my country’s educational TV dramas in recent years.Breakthrough in strategy.First of all,it explains the character setting strategy of Chinese education TV series in recent years from the creation of contrasting character images and differentiated families.Secondly,the light comedy narrative style is explained from three levels: the realistic value of the light comedy style,the comic characters and the humorous language,and the setting of "coincidence" and "misunderstanding".Finally,in terms of narrative methods,in recent years,my country’s educational TV dramas have used the short daily narratives of daily life to present the true face of real life in narrative methods,and insight into social reality from the trivial trivialities of life.At the same time,the narrative structure arrangement of the "reunion" ending is followed,and all conflicts and conflicts are finally resolved in a satisfactory way,so that the audience can realize the aspirations of "seeking reality in the illusion and satisfying the self in the imagination".The fourth chapter is the reflection on Chinese education TV series in recent years.This chapter reflects on the creation of Chinese education TV series in recent years from three aspects:homogeneity of artistic expression,shallow reflection of reality,and extreme expression of problems.Firstly,it discusses the homogenization tendency in the artistic expression of my country’s educational TV dramas in recent years from the aspects of characterization and plot modeling;secondly,from the three aspects of exposing reality on the surface,reflecting the problem is not comprehensive enough,and solving the problem too ideally.On the one hand,it elaborates on the limitation of the superficiality of my country’s education-themed TV dramas in reflecting reality in recent years.Finally,this paper analyzes the disadvantages of the extreme and one-sided performance of Chinese education TV series in recent years from the two aspects of over-rendering parent-child contradiction and deviation of values,in order to find out the deficiencies and accumulate experience in the reflection,so as to better promote the development of Chinese education TV series.The fifth chapter is the outlook of Chinese education TV series.From the three dimensions of broadening the development path,basing on social reality and leading the correct value concept,it provides suggestions for the future development of education TV series,and looks forward to the future development of Chinese education TV series.
