A Study Of Narrative Poetry In The Wei,Jin And Southern And Northern Dynasties

The narrative poems of Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties are an important part of ancient Chinese narrative poems.This paper makes a special study of the narrative poems of Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties.Diachrically speaking,the narrative poems of Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties are placed in the historical time axis,the origin and tradition of the former narrative poems are investigated,and the basic situation of each stage of the narrative poems of this period is sorted out.Synchronically speaking,it systematically elucidates the motivation,theme,story,character and art of the narrative poems of Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties.The text consists of four parts.The first part is diachronic research.The definition of the concept of narrative poetry is the first problem to be solved in the study.Then after sorting out the development of the word "narrative" and the main viewpoints of the academic circles on the definition of narrative poetry,the paper makes a definition according to the actual situation of ancient narrative poetry in China.Then the paper explores the development of narrative poetry before Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties along the historical track.Finally,it systematically discusses narrative poetry in Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties,and sums up the development characteristics of narrative poetry in different stages.The rest of the thesis are synchronic research of Narrative Poems of Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties.The narrative poems of Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties showed great richness on their themes.Objectively,the broad social life provides rich material for the creation of narrative poetry,and subjectively,the diversified narrative motivation of the poet determines the selection of diversified themes in the process of poetry creation.Therefore,the second part,starting from the causal relationship,discusses the pluralistic narrative motivation and abundant themes of the narrative poems of Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties.Story and characters are important aspects that cannot be ignored in the study of narrative poetry.The third part elucidates the story and characters in the narrative poetry of Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties based on the western narrative theory,distinguishes the two concepts of"story" and "text",and discusses the story types of the narrative poetry of Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties.Based on the theory of characters,this paper expounds the types of characters in narrative poems from the aspects of "acteur" and "actant".The fourth part discusses the narrative art of narrative poems in Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties from four aspects:narrative perspective,narrative structure,tailor and metaphorical technique.Firstly,combining with the narrative perspective theory,it discusses the rich writing perspectives of narrative poetry from three aspects of omniscient angle,limited angle and angle transformation.The limited angle combines with the spokes-type theory,which reflects the characteristics of narrative poetry and narrative theory in China.Then,according to the artistic style of the combination of events,scenes,feelings and principles often presented in the ancient Chinese narrative poems,the structure model of the narrative poems in the Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties is explained from two aspects of record and emotion.Then it discusses the clipping art of narrative poetry from the angles of "omission" and "focus".Finally,the metaphorical narrative art of narrative poetry is discussed based on the images and allusions in narrative poetry.
