| In today’s era,movie-watching has increasingly become one of the aesthetic experiences and embodiments of daily life,while the atmosphere experience has already become an important issue of particular concern to both film parties and audiences.As an important genre of contemporary western films,fantasy films need more support from atmosphere under the action of genre characteristics.German aesthetes who,wave’s developed based on the new concept of the atmosphere of the phenomenology and the atmosphere of the aesthetics has been widely used in drama,music,and the daily aesthetic study,based on this theory,the paper proposed from the perspective of atmosphere build and audience to accept the two atmosphere of contemporary western fantasy movie to explore aesthetic issues.Firstly,the thesis introduces the concept and main content of atmosphere aesthetics and fantasy film,and establishes the theoretical basis of the thesis.It needs to be made clear that the atmosphere aesthetics of Gernotte Bomer prescribes human’s perceptual perception as a primary and overall situation feeling,regards the atmosphere as a kind of emotional space between the subject and the object,and makes the atmosphere change the tradition and become locatable.So the atmosphere can be built.This is also the theoretical premise to analyze the atmosphere of contemporary western fantasy films.The second chapter and the third chapter respectively discuss the problem of atmosphere building and situation feeling.The atmosphere is created through the scene design to achieve,and the premise of the scene design is to grasp the objects of ecstasy.Colors,sounds,and faces are the ecstasy of things,the way in which people or things are present,and thus perceived.Fantasy film makers try to achieve the desired aesthetic effect of atmosphere through the manufacture and control of the object mania.Situation feeling and atmosphere building are inseparable.The ultimate purpose of studying the atmosphere building is to change the atmosphere and mood in the viewing space so as to change the audience’s situation feeling.The audience’s perceptual perception is the key to receive the spatial atmosphere and get the feeling of the situation brought by the ecstasy in the physical existence as described by Bomer,while the resonance can make the audience enter the atmosphere space created for aesthetic experience.After completing the preliminary theoretical interpretation,this paper chooses Pirates of the Caribbean 4,one of the representative works of contemporary western fantasy films: "Breaking Twaves" carries out a specific aesthetic analysis of the atmosphere,which further confirms that in western fantasy films,sounds,colors and faces as objects of ecstasy are processed and designed by the makers to create a space atmosphere,and the audience can feel the atmosphere of ecstasy through the perceptual experience of this atmosphere.Through the analysis of the first three parts,the paper proposes that for fantasy films,enhancing the sense of experience is indeed a subjective effort to adapt to the characteristics of current aesthetic experience,but excessive reliance on the sense of experience and weakening the depth of emotional narrative and thought are likely to bring severe damage to the film.The right direction for the development of fantasy films is to give consideration to the spectacle of film content narrative and the sublimation of thought to achieve common development. |
