| Chinese measure words have unique characteristics and are widely and flexibly used in modern Chinese.However,in the Teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,Chinese measure words are difficult to learn and use.Textbooks play a role as a link and determine the effects of teaching and learning.Therefore,this article compares and analyzes the layout of measure words in the comprehensive textbooks of Development Chinese and Boya Chinese.Based on this,reasonable suggestions are put forward for the arrangement of measure words in the junior and intermediate textbooks of Chinese as a foreign language.This paper is divided into four chapters:The introduction explains the origin and significance of the paper,narrates the feasibility and theoretical basis of the topic selection,analyzes the current situation of the research from two aspects: the ontology of measure words and the Teaching Chinese as a foreign language and the teaching of measure words;introduces the research objects Development Chinese(Second Edition)and Boya Chinese(Second Edition)comprehensive textbook for junior and intermediate levels and Syllabus of Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and Chinese Character Levels,explaining the reasons for the selection of the above textbooks and the paper methods used.Chapter 1 Development Chinese and Boya Chinese measure words collection situation and grade arrangement comparative study Development Chinese(Second Edition)junior and intermediate comprehensive textbook contains a total of 76 measure words,Boya Chinese(Second Edition)junior and intermediate comprehensive textbook contains a total of 78 measure words.Based on the number of measure words included in each volume,it can be seen that the two series of textbooks have a common feature: the higher the level of the textbook,the fewer quantifiers included.According to the Syllabus of Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and Chinese Character Levels,the textbook measure words are classified and sorted out.Generally speaking,the two textbooks mostly involve Grade A and B measure words at the junior and intermediate level,but there are also a few super class measure words.From the perspective of each level,each volume of the two textbooks has a different arrangement of measure words levels.For example,Development Chinese elementary comprehensive Ⅰ contains 29 Grade A measure words,while Boya Chinese elementary beginning Part I contains 19 Grade A measure words.There is a10 difference in the number of Grade A measure words included in the two textbooks at the same stage.The comparison shows that the selection of measure words in the primary stage of Boya Chinese is more detailed and comprehensive,and the scope of inclusion is more in line with the Syllabus of Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and Chinese Character Levels requirements.Chapter 2 Development Chinese and Boya Chinese measure words definition and grammatical point arrangement comparison study.Development Chinese elementary and intermediate stage measure words interpretation items are "new words + Pinyin + part of speech(m)+ English interpretation" four items,Boya Chinese elementary and intermediate stage measure words interpretation items are "new words + Pinyin + part of speech(mw)+ English interpretation".In the quasi-intermediate and intermediate stages,it is changed to "new words +Pinyin + part of speech(quantity)+ Chinese interpretation + examples".There are five items.It can be seen that the interpretation items of the two series of textbooks at the elementary stage are basically agreed,and they are mainly based on English interpretation to facilitate students’ learning.At the intermediate stage,Boya Chinese will switch to Chinese based on the improvement of students’ knowledge and cognitive ability.Interpretation and add example items to make the annotations more appropriate,and the display of the measure words usage is also more specific.In addition,the interpretation items of 36 measure words in the textbook were compared.The common point of the two series of textbooks is that they both attach importance to the part-of-speech tagging of measure words,but ignore the detailed annotations on the meaning of words.The difference in the annotations is that Development Chinese focuses on the general usage of measure words.The interpretation of measure words in Boya Chinese is aimed at the context of the class,and the annotations are more specific.Chapter 3 Comparative Study of measure words Exercises in Development Chinese and Boya Chinese.This article compares and analyzes the textbook measure words exercises from the two aspects of exercise question type and question volume.From the perspective of question types,there are replacement measure words questions and optional measures words fill-in questions in the comprehensive textbook of Boya Chinese.Although there are few types,only measure words appear in these two types of questions,which belong to theme a sure words-specific question type;There are four types of measure words questions in the comprehensive textbook for junior and intermediate levels,including filling in the blanks,reading pinyin and writing measure words,sentence practice,and question-and-answer dialogue.The types are richer.But these four types of questions are not designed for measure words,and interspersed with others.An investigation of parts of speech and knowledge points.In terms of the amount of questions,the similarity is that the amount of measure words exercises in the two series of textbooks account for a small proportion of the total amount of exercises,and the measure words exercises are mainly distributed in the primary stage;the difference is that although the measure words exercises in the textbooks are mainly concentrated In the elementary stage,the distribution of the practice questions of Development Chinese is relatively balanced,and it is distributed in both the elementary and intermediate stages,especially in the intermediate stage.The frequency of occurrence is relatively high,while the Boya Chinese only appears in the intermediate stage.There is an exercise with a clear measure words question type.From this point of view,Development Chinese is more reasonable in the arrangement of measure words exercises.Chapter 4 Comprehensive Principles and Optimization Suggestions for measure words arrangement in comprehensive Chinese textbooks for Foreign Languages.Based on the theoretical basis for the compilation of Chinese as a foreign language textbooks and the results of the above comparative analysis,the general principles for the layout of measure words in Chinese as a foreign language textbooks are summarized.Under the guidance of learning strategies,they are based on measure words.The selected quantity,grade,interpretation,collocation,and exercises provide reference opinions for textbook compilation.In terms of the number of selections,the total number of measure words should be controlled at about 80,and the preparation of measure words should ensure that the proportion of primary measure words is the largest,followed by the intermediate level,and the least advanced.In the selection of measure words,attention should be paid to the formation of links between the books.According to the level of the students and the learning pattern,the class can first be classified into individual measure words,measurement terms,special noun measure words,special verbal measure words,etc.In terms of paraphrase and grammatical point arrangement,the principles of precise,detailed and clear-cut should be followed.The grammatical point arrangement should be carried out according to the learning stage,and the grammatical point order should be given based on the outline.For example,in the primary stage Ⅰ stage can be first coded into the concept of measure words,money expression method,date expression method,time and time period and other language points..In terms of practice arrangement,attention should be paid to the moderate amount of questions and the reasonable distribution of questions to ensure that the question types are rich and varied,and the content is gradual and orderly.This paper makes a detailed statistics of the measure words included in the comprehensive textbooks of Development Chinese and Boya Chinese,and compares them in terms of the selection range of measure words,the number of measure words selected,the interpretation of quantifiers and the arrangement of grammatical points,and the arrangement of measure words exercises.With the help of the above analysis results,summarize the comprehensive compilation principles and compilation suggestions for measure words in the Teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,and provide a theoretical basis for the teaching of measure words in foreign Chinese and the arrangement of measure words in the teaching materials,so as to improve the teaching efficiency and the scientific nature of textbook compilation. |
