Study On Cultural Connotation Of XiXia Dynasty Brick Pattern And Practice Of Innovative Design

The floor tile pattern of the Xixia Dynasty followed the traditional pattern of the Tang Dynasty,the Five Dynasties and the Song Dynasty,and was influenced by the culture of the Western Regions.It was colorful in terms of theme and type.After sorting out,it was divided into three categories:plant pattern,geometric pattern and other pattern.This article will carry out the artistic research on the pattern of Xixia brick from the different themes,artistic characteristics and social connotation.In Xixia tiling patterns of inheritance and innovation as the breakthrough point,from the Angle of design,respectively,to each kind of brick grain shape characteristics and artistic features,to analyze different form of tile pattern,according to the related records and archaeological reports at the same time,the tiling patterns reflect the cultural connotation and design beauty and to discuss,This paper interprets the aesthetic sense of form and the aesthetic principle of decorative pattern,and draws the enlightenment of brick pattern to graphic design and applies it in innovative design practice.
