| Based on discourse theory,cohesion theory and interlanguage theory,this paper analyzes the reference textual cohesion errors in Chinese written expressions of intermediate level Thai students by using error analysis and data statistics methods.The full thesis is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research reasons,the purpose and significance of the study,the basis of the research,the current situation of the study and the research design.The second part analyzes the of Thai students.Firstly,summarized the reference textual cohesion errors,by which obtained the types of errors and carried out the error analysis,and then by means of data analysis examined the reference textual cohesion errors in Chinese written expressions of intermediate level Thai students.The third part explores the causes of the reference textual cohesion errors of Thai students.There are four main reasons for that causes the reference textual cohesion errors:the influence of L1 negative transfer,the generalization of the knowledge of the target language,the influence of teaching materials and the influence of avoidance strategies.The fourth part makes suggestions on how to improve the reference textual cohesion ability of Thai students.For instance,students should accurately master the rules of the target language,improve the learning strategy,and use less avoidance strategy.Teaching materials should pay more attention to cohesion teaching,avoid misleading,practices should pay attention to the cultivation of textual cohesion ability,teachers should improve teaching methods.The fifth part is the conclusion of the thesis. |
